I recently upgraded to a Sony 65in 4K TV. It only came with 4 HDMI ports and I have 5 devices I wanted to hook up to it. Having this switch allowed me to put all my game consoles in 1 HDMI port and made it simple for me to instruct my wife how to use the new TV.

Only one hdmi out of our flat screen with no streaming so this device is working great with our accessories

It works for devices that don't need much power but other than that it works great.

works well let me add more gaming systems to my tv with out unplugging them

Works great except that it does not automatically switch to the cable box when it is powered on. It does state that it doesn't work with all devices and having to manually switch from DVD to Cable after a movie slightly defeats the purpose. It does come with a remote however, which helps!

Advertised as switching devices automatically. Not going to happen. The device won't even recognize the last powered device. You have to to 'toggle' the switch each time you use it. No auto sensing at all. (I have an Apple TV, Roku 4 and Blu-Ray DVD player running through this switch.). For the price it should work as advertised.

works ok .does not work well with any device that has a screen saver mode.

It can be a little cranky at times. Today, it was knocking out the sound on the TV until we rebooted it. But if you have more devices than HDMI ports on the TV (I consider 2 ports is NOT ENOUGH), this allows connecting them all without swapping plugs around.
