We had not had a problem connecting a blu-ray player before so we didn’t consider it an issue. But, it is.

I didn't want to invest a whole bunch of money to replace it so I bought this. It isn't as good as my old system but it does what I need. I'd recommend for the price.

The sound is great, providing deep base and precise sound location for a good surround sound during game play. Easy setup with great sound for the price.

The new unit took a little while setting it up. Once on, I was able to test the unit and everything seemed OK. Movie playback was smooth and the sound was very good. I starting having problems shortly thereafter when I noticed a humming coming from the main unit when the the mute was on. Sounded like fan noise. Not wanting to risk a complete failure of the unit, I replaced the unit with a soundbar and DVD player. Extra cost was worth it.
