I bought this system but soon returned it. Not because it didn't work, but because it only had one HDMI connection and I was installing it on a older TV which also had only one HDMI connection that was already in use. It was a basic box system that worked ok. Probably good system for the price.

Does not play all sound formats in full surround sound.

I only wish 3D glasses came with the 3D blueray player.

I am very happy eith this product. I was able to purchase an open box at a lower peice and was a bit leary about yhat but i think you cant go wrong with samsung products

Good product for the price. Unfortunately the rear surround speakers are not wireless making it very troublesome to install. Better get the HT5500W with wireless rear speakers.

Would be better if back speakers would always be on.

I WAS A LITTLE THISV APPOINTED IN THE SOUND WITH THIS PRODUCT, WHEN PLAYING A "DVD" HARD TO GET THE SPEECH FROM THE BACK GROUND NOISE THROUGH THE "HTS" AND HAVE LISTEN THROUGH THE "TV" SPEAKERS. SWCITHING FROM ONE FUNTION TO THE NEXT HARDER THEN NEED BE.

I had brought this system before and through countless opening and closing of the disc tray I to get a new one and i still love this system

Iam very pleased with this Samsung Hometheater unit i especilly like the ripping mode to a usb very nice would recomrnd it to everyone!!

I ended up returning this, but not really because it's a bad product, it just didn't work for me. I just have a toddler and can't do all the wires. For the price you can't expect miracles, but if you're on a budget, it'll do.

Worthless junk, am returning it tomorrow. Don't waste you time or money on this player/theater unit. I have nearly 1000 Bluray videos and nearly 25% WILL NOT PLAY on this unit. Seems that Samsung neglected to include a vast number of codecs needed to play most movies made after 2015. Recently released (after 2015) movies are a 50-50 proposition as to whether they will play. I called Samung phone service and after an hour of playing with settings they sent me to online support who played for ANOTHER hour with the SAME settings and the same result - no go. Then they sent me to tech support who (2 days later) sent me an eamil telling me to go to phone support (yes the same ones I started with. Final result - Samsung units WON'T play many recent titles, and they have no plans to update these units. Save your money and time and buy something else.

We are enjoying the user friendly Smart TV functions, great picture and sound with the Samsung 4K 50 inch plus Samsung Home Theater.

The quality is embrassing to say the least for what I paid for this. Just spend a little more to get at the very least a soundbar. The 1000w goes above and beyond
