Tricky question...why? Because the Geek Squad personnel were EXCELLENT. The WAIT to get them scheduled was NOT. So...people 5 stars...process...2 stars.

Warranties are so helpful and reliant. I suggest to always buy product warranty for anything bought at best buy. Their feel squad is very good at working with customers especially in technical complications.

So worth the peace of mind, all you need is your digital receipt, some time to do some troubling shooting with the Geek Squad tech over the phone. If that didn’t work go to the store and exchange for another item. Easy!

What can I say about the Geek Squad that would even be close to how they have saved my computers over the years for me. They have helped my business when I needed them via the phone diagnostic repair.

I purchased the 4 year warranty to fix or replace. Hope I never have to use it but have it just incase. I normally don’t purchase warranty’s but to pay that much just for a printer I added it.

I buy GSR on all major purchases. Murphy's Law has taught me that if something is going to break, it will be the day after the expiration of the manufacturer's limited warranty. My experience with the Geek Squad replacement process has always been positive.

i always buy the geek squad protection because its cheaper than replacing the item with the same thing again in the event something happens. and i buy it on sale...so that way with the protection plan included im still paying basically the normal price if it wasnt on sale.

I've learned never to purchase anything without a protection plan and the Geek Squad has followed through every way. There's never been a problem in identifying my purchases and they always follow up with a call to make sure everything is in working order.

I always get if the price is low, more so I will pay the higher price for appliances though, too many electronics in them now days. plan is what it is, Best Buy stands behind there plan,. you will have a like product the same day before you leave if yours is not in stock.

I brought in my defunct printer that I had only a few months. The good news was that the price had gone down on it and I was given a better printer and a credit for the price drop. It was all done in a few minutes.

While in the past, I have stayed away from extended warranties, as products would normally work for quite a while. Not so much anymore, as there is more quantity than there is quality put into the products. You just can't expect to have electronics or many other items to work as long as before. The Geek Squad warranty takes the pain out having an item go dead on you, in the 1st 2 years, regardless of the supposed manufacturers warranty.
