I think the accidental protection plan on certain purchases is 100% worth it.

I’m always impressed with the knowledge and care the Geek Squad provide. I’ve had them install many things and have never had a problem. They always answer my questions and explain how to use the products so that I’m never confused when using my purchased items. Being a total member gives me free install!

The reason I did not buy through Best Buy was due to the bad reviews were sooo bad I chose to buy locally just in case. Honestly, you look at the star rating and it's nearly 5 stars. Then you start reading the reviews and all you see is 1 star and people saying "don't buy". I just sat down on my MacBook Pro, OS 10.15.7 and went straight to the Brother Support website and downloaded the recommended software. After the download it took me less than 5 minutes to set this up. It asked if I wanted to use my wifi and it automatically grabbed my password. I turned on the printer, after a minute my computer screen said push WiFi button on the printer. I said yes to use WiFi and a few seconds went by and it then said, your printer is ready to be used. I've now printed from my computer and my wifes computer. In fact on hers I just went into settings and selected Printer, it saw the Brother and asked if I wanted to download teh printer driver. I can't answer why some people have all these problems. I can tell you that I finally got to the point of only reading the good reviews on all printers as the bad reviews were extreme. My experience is, I wish I had set this up 3 weeks ago when I bought it. I anticipated a night of frustration and got no frustration. Oh...it's silent when in sleep mode, it takes seconds when I send a print job and out it comes. You know with all new injets it takes at least 5 minutes of noise etc before it'll print. And now I'm no longer held to a tiny little inkjet ink cartridge that can only print 100 pages. Free at last!

Needed a printer after mine went BANANAS! Loved the style, the price, and the productivity. The style is super sleek for anyone needing a modern clean look. The price and productivity — you couldn’t beat it! Double sided and photo printing, among other things, just amazing. The only little thing, it is a a tinsy windy slightly noisy and jerky cause of the printing, but nothing out of the ordinary. Great quality and color printing. You won’t regret your purchase. 5 stars from me!

It is an excellent and a better option for a good job.

I purchased this to replace a ten year old Canon all-in-one printer (MX922) and the difference has been night and day. The Epson is quick quick to boot up, respond to commands, scan, and print (the Canon was very slow and generally infuriating). The touchscreen works well, print quality is very good (at least for the non-photo documents I've printed so far), and the Epson iPrint app works well (it's not a very refined app but does what I need it to). I love the compact size and that the scan feeder tray can be closed to create a flat top surface when not in use. There are cheaper all-in-one options out there, and Epson ink is expensive ('chipped' cartridges are certainly galling), but so far this has been well worth the price.

Always make time to assist customers even when you walk in unexpectedly. They are always present with an attitude of courteousness and are customer-driven focus. I would not trust any other service!

Easy to install and good quality for the money...ps ...if u have tmobile interner like me maby need to restart router(plug off and on) before u start.

The Geek Squad service is a must have when buying an inkjet printer. You never know what's going to go wrong with these things and they stand by their replacement!

The only support is canned answers. Chat doesn't actually exist, email only handles installation questions, and phone had a 2-hr wait last time I tried. Maybe business support is better than home. The printer doesn't let the PC go to sleep mode. The internet offers some suggestions involving Devices and Printers | Print Preferences, but this printer driver has a more limited set of options there than the examples I see on the internet. Other than that, the printer works fine, but what am I going to do if something more serious occurs?
