We had to get the protection so in case we have issues with the product.

This is the third keyboard that I had to replace would not go with out geek squad on headphones, keyboards, or mice

I honestly don't think I've ever used geek squad which is sort of a blessing

Have used this many times on many products and have rarely had an issue.

So I purchased the warranty with the understanding that its a replacement warranty .A warranty is nothing but peace of mind that you hope you don't end up using . I ended up using mine because the printer I purchased died on me out of nowhere .It was a canon color laser printer Canon Mf642 . When I went to go get a it replaced the at geek squad at my local bestbuy ."Cole" who said he was the supervisor and the only person I can talk to ,told me all he can do is offer me the money back as a BB credit . I told him that I am not interested in that , I'd rather have the same printer either fixed or replaced .I did not care for a store . I had already spend money is buying expensive toner cartridges that would go to waste . Thee guy told me that this printer is not is stock and a similar model I'd have to take the store credit and pay the difference . the difference was close to $200 . I DID NOT PURCAHSE THIS WARRANRTY FOR STORE CREDIT . I purchased it so if anything goes wrong I get the same or similar replacement . The Geek squad guy stonewalled me and kept repeating that this is my only option .He told me that I am welcome to try my luck at a different Best buy ! I am very unhappy with my experience .

I always get the geek sqaud for help when i need it.
