Best Buy offers the Geek Squad service on their products which when you break the cost down by year is a fantastic value, and trust me, it is well worth it should something happen that an item needs repair.

I like Protection Plans especially for electronics. I joined Total Tech. The squad were easy to make appointments for service. They arrived in the window that was set up. If they were going to be late, they called and let us know their ETA. They are pleasant, they know what they are doing. They never seemed rushed and work on the problem until it is fixed. They are honest and I don't think they would say that an item needs replacing unless it does. The Geek Squad is great!

This is one product that you hope you don't need to use, but it gives peace of mind to know it is available.

Very affordable and nice to have when things stop working or have an malfunctioning problem.

Seven months earlier, I purchased a printer and a Geek Squad Replacement Agreement. After years of use, my old all-in-one printer finally failed. Who needs insurance for reliable products? I questioned my purchase but since BestBuy price matched my printer purchase, I was willing to support my brick and mortar business. The printer was at a secondary location and not used monthly. Surprise, the printer failed at 5 months. I had forgotten that I had this coverage and it took me a couple of months (mistake) to verify that it was the printer and not me. After looking for a replacement printer, I remembered that I had Geek Squad coverage and took the printer to BestBuy where the Geek Squad without hesitation issued me a pro-rated credit. This time I did not hesitate to purchase Geek Squad replacement coverage for the replacement printer. As with all insurance, I expect (or hope) the printer will stand up to my use and not need this insurance, but if it fails GeekSquad and BestBuy are there to support me.

It's great when i had issues with my product. I went to Geek Squad they have me a gift card for what I paid and i got another items plus some.

I've not had any repair experience yet but having an account did help in returning an item past it's normal return date and getting store credit for the item.

TOP SERVICE as always - we love the Geek Squad, they keep us senior citizens up and running. I had a problem upgrading to Windows 11 and Michael spent the time to find out why. And now my computer is current once again!

These guys are very helpful. They setup my complete system in my home and were able to assist online when I had issues with connecting to my home account.

You generally can’t go wrong with the protection plan! Most things that are made these do not stand the test of time, but if you add the plan then you can take it back when it dies out and get a new one.

You never know when you're going to need them. Very good protection for your products.
