    Easy and simple, no hoops to jump through. Walk in show my receipt and product at the service desk, blue shirts take care of the rest. Perfect.

    I hate warranties but I will never leave Best Buy without their protection plan. They stand by their products and that is cool in my book.

    Work really good for the first 3 years then starting having trouble with it keep on turning off then had to keep re starting it so we just ended getting lap tops instead and they are much better for us

    The geeksquad replacement plans are always worth the purchase. Obviously it doesn't cover your abusive damage, but it does cover many common issues.

    Got it because external drives, at least mine, seem to last 1-2 years so hopefully if this one goes the warranty will help get it repaired.
