I don't usually buy protection plans because most electronics break during the factory warranty period or they last for years (beyond the the purchased protection plan). This time, I had some problems with other devices and decided that this plan was cheap enough to take the gamble. Besides, the Geek Squad is very good about doing quick checks on faulty equipment.

I have had this printer for 3 yrs now and I love it! I'm able to print quickly and the colors print vibrantly! No issues what so ever!

You cannot consider passing on the product protection plan from Best Buy. I have it on every item I purchase and it has saved my butt time after time. We have kids, and things break more often in our house than they should. When it comes to expensive electronics ($150 keyboards, $80 mice) adding a few extra bucks for that piece of mind is well worth it.

For the first time I used the Geek Squad Replacement plan purchased for an Epson XP640 printer which failed. The transaction could not have gone more smoothly. The associate was efficient, polite, and knowledgeable. The replacement has been ordered and the price match was also applied. This certainly was a worthwhile purchase!

Best graphics card for price, very reliable as it has still kept up fir the last 3 years and is still working js as new.

Absolutely useful esp if you're buying electronics and dropping huge investments!

Thought when getting this. I would at least get assistance installing if need and troubleshooting. Nope. First you can’t get a hold of store, 2 no one will call you back. You get routed all over the place and no help unless you go into store. How is going into store going to help me get this all working with my system in my office.

I've had to use this program before and it saved me a considerable amount of money. Best Buy never questioned anything once they looked up the protection and I was able to get a replacement very quick and out the door I went a " happy camper"! Worth the money if it saves a lot of time and frustration for me :-)

Stopped working after 9 months. Has printer error to replace ink

Nice printer but difficult to set up; kept asking for password, to connect 1245678, and wouldn't discover router. Said couldn't find it; had to go manual, then everything started working! Bad auto internet wifi connect script? Seems to work ok now! Can't find paper out shelf, to hold paper and not on floor? Got a scanner, wasn't expecting that.

Overall, a decent printer for documents. Quality is okay but this printer is not fast nor meant for printing pictures. I should have read the specifications on the HP website, but this printer does not support borderless printers like my old Canon printer. For example, when printing a 4x6" picture in landscape mode it leaves a 1/4" border on the left, top, and bottom but the major issue is that it leaves a 1/2" border on the right making the 4x6" picture into an off-centered 3.90"x5.5" picture. I verified with the HP representative that this in is fact true. This is the link https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c08273514 to the HP support page and on the bottom, it states, "Borderless printing - NO" Besides that the software for the printer forces you to sign up with HP to utilize the scan feature and all of the other diagnostic settings. And for some reason when it prompts you to sign up and redirect you to the HP website to sign up, it will not work the Google Chrome, MS Edge, MS Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox. I had to download DuckDuckGo to be able to sign up to log in into the program. I am using Windows 11 desktop. This was a nightmare that took another 2 hours to figure out. All-in-all the scanning feature and quality is no different than my older Canon all-in-one printer. For the sub $50 price this is an okay printer for basic copy and document printing but not for pictures. If and when this printer fails I will be looking to spend a bit more for a better printer with borderless printing.

It's essentially just some coverage that I would highly recommend for any product that is prone to wear and tear. Personally I purchased this alongside a Logitech Mouse. Logitech's gear is known to have some hiccups along the way so putting down another $10 is worth it in the long run.

Highly Recommend!!! This is a great printer. Very space friendly, but don't let the size of this printer fool you. It's very well made, easy to set up, and the quality of the prints are awesome!!

The geek squad is awesome! I like that i can go to them and they check out the problem and if they can't fix it they give me what i paid for the item to get a other one.
