I have had nothing but excellent service with any product that I've had to bring into the Geek Squad for evaluation or repair. My laptop had gotten something stuck in the headphones jack and the tech worked diligently to get it out - it appeared to be a small stone that had fallen into the jack - it works great now!! I bought new RAM for my laptop and they installed it for me. I bought new RAM for my desktop and the technician assured me that I could install it myself and as a matter of fact, I was able to. I have returned several items that were covered and they either fixed or fully replaced.

This review is simply for an extended warranty, not for any Geek Squad service. (Nothing against them, but I'm an engineer and fully capable of installing, setting up, and maintaining my own equipment. In this case, I was forced to work from home, for the same reason most of us were, for the last few weeks of last year. I soon found that I had no means to communicate in virtual meetings. The solution was to purchase a gaming headset with a USB interface, which put me back in service! The extended warranty was very inexpensive so I bought that as well. Fortunately, I've not had to use it, but am confident that if I do, Best Buy will belly up to the bar.

Don’t purchase without Geek Squad protection. Everything get’s fixed or replaced as long as you purchase it and it’s still effective. Get the five year plan on big ticket items.

have not had to use it yet but bought it for my Blink 2 module just in case since my last Blink module failed and their customer service was horrible and having to deal with them for a warranty replacement I decided to just go buy a new one a best buy. I imagine they will be a million times better than dealing with Blink customer service again!

When needed, these plans are easy to use and completely back my products.

I enjoy purchasing the additional warranties on products I buy at Best Buy. It puts my mind at ease that I will get the full use out of the products that I buy. I have never had a problem with any of the purchases that I have made, but it is a nice feeling knowing that if there ever is a problem, that it will be resolved.

The Geek Squad 4-year product replacement is very convenient when needed.

Amazing plan.. I had issue with my Echo dot and the replacement has done instantly in store via store credit. no fuss. amazing service. No process or waiting.. it helped me very much and no head ache and worth the plan.

i’m not worried if they break, 4 years is a long while though
