When available, I always purchase a Geek Squad Plan. Although I hope I never have to use it, if I do, the Geek Squad is very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I feel more secure knowing that I have access to them.

Best Buy is the best of best in warranty repair and accidental damage protection service. Used to shop the mail order stores to save couple bucks. However the quality of merchandise, no matter what country MADE, is not always good. Rather walk-in than mail in for repair. Experience is the best education

Accidental protection is a must for handheld electronics that will be handled outside of the house.

I would recommend this to anyone as you never know what can happen especially when making purchases for children. This definitely came in handy and they treated us very well even though I was a bit frustrated due to the incident with our device. Wouldn’t think twice about purchasing this again! What a life saver!

The tv was so easy to install that we didn’t need help from the Geek Squad, but it was nice to know that they were available if needed. I am very happy with the warranty!

Replaced camera that would not function properly! For some reason the camera was not taking proper pictures, no matter what the picture was fuzzy and you couldn’t change the settings, they couldn’t fix it so they replaced it with a nee camera!

I have used Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection for other purchases and have always been happy when I needed help. As a hiker I am pretty hard on my cameras and would not even consider not getting this protection. Weather in the store or on the phone the Geeks have always been professional & helpful.

A must for anyone buying new items. The tech came out and fixed the leaking washer issue. He replaces the door seal and left an extra for future replacement if needed. Was very professional and even gave a few tips about front loader washers I didn’t know!

I extended Geek Squad Protection on my Canon G9X camera in June. I know I put portable gear through tough use and am glad I got it as in August the camera stopped working while climbing 14ers. I brought it in to get it fixed. About 2 weeks later (I was getting frustrated by the wait time) Geek Squad trashed the broken device and replaced it. My only complaint is that I thought the contract would roll over to the new camera. It didn't, so I'll have to buy protection again. And will!

Bought this plan when we bought the camera. We have purchased several cameras at Best Buy over the years. We have been well satisfied each time. Well worth your money.

Good protection for my Sony camera. I use my camera for my work. I accidentally drop it a lot, I take it in for repairs and when it is not repairable, they give me the full purchase value of the camara.
