My previos camera from best buy had the 3 year protection on lenses and camera. I Had trouble with both camera and lens' and Geek squad worked with mw to get it resolved.

Geek squad almost always has treated me well and usually gets the repair done quickly.

This gives me the peace of mind that my product is covered. I do not worry as much and have fun using it.

Purchased it for my camera and I haven't used it thankfully! However, it is great because they give me a one time use to clean my lens.

It was always great experience! The only problem I have is with my other camera I only purchased 1 year and I can’t renew.

I add protection to everything i buy, better to be safe than sorry

It must have been that Arizona desert dust storm but my expensive lens stopped working. So glad I got the protection plan because they simply replaced my lens !!! Thanks Best Buy !!!

If you plan on doing anything around kids or sports it’s worth the extra money in protection. Plus they clean your products once a year and maintaining it

Bottom line. I am clumsy. I always get at least a 1 yr protection plan on my lenses. Its always a good investment.

The plan covers almost everything. They couldn’t put my accident though as a insurance claim but they gave me a whole new device replacing the broken one

I purchased an open box lens with accidental protection plan from geek squad. The lens worked amazing, but was missing back lens cover. Great for getting pictures of birds up close.

I don't usually purchase extra protection. However, I choose to for my Nixon camera and lens since I am a klutz! They stand true to their word, speaking from experience!

Gotta have this if you are going to buy tech at Best Buy! Otherwise the customper service suffers quite a bit...
