    I bought this protection because I previously bought a laptop and the screen cracked. My new laptop has worked just fine and haven't had to use protection plan but happy to know I have it in case I need it.

    You rather be safe than sorry. the last thing you want is to deal with more upfront fee than a deductible of a few bucks
