    I made the best decision when I went into Best Buy to update and purchase my new devices. Each and every one of the Geek Squad that I spoke with and asked questions were knowledgeable, professional and patient. No matter how many times I asked a question for clarification they provided me with answers that I could understand along with numerous suggestions. I will never go anywhere else to purchase any technology! Keep up the tremendous work!!

    Geek Squad Thumbs Up Warranty is TBD

    So far the folks at Geek Squad have been great. Now I’m about to find out how good the actual warranty is because the refurbished aka Re-BSed computer keeps breaking down and I’ve only had it since late July.

    I purchased a new laptop from Best Buy and accidental/extendeded waranty because i have purchased 4 or 5 reconditioned laptops in the past few years and was advised to do as I did and I AM STILL GOING TO HAVE TO SEND IN MY BRAND NEW DELL IN TO BE REPAIRED AND BE WITHOUT IT FOR 2 TO 3 WEEKS! I am so extremely disapointed that i am dealing with this, considering when i discussed the extra 120 dollars i payed ditectly to best buy only because i was told it would never have to be sent out! I was considering whether to purchase the dell or the geek squad becuase the guy blaitantlg lies to me about multiple aspects of this laptop! The otignial price for this machine is more than my car is worth! Im a midle aged widow single mom taking care of my husbands mom!I am not who has money to buy another laptop because it broke the bank to spend this 600 dollars on the clearance laptop! It was on clearance and open box, and originalt price being over 1100 dollars and came with no charger, which is ridiculous to tell a customer that "its an opeĺn box so if it does not come with one i had to buy one. Furthermore the keys stick from day on and now some keys do not work and it needs to be sent out to be repaired. The geek squad associate that looked at the laptop wjen i brought it to be diagnosed to however, was very nice and seemed to be compident but i am wishing i would have know this beriee any if this because i would have never .

    This I bought for myself. I'm handicapped and my vision is poor. I tell everyone I'm the most electronically challenged person on earth. I figured it would be in my best interest to get protection in case something goes wrong with my new laptop!!

    I have language problems, there are good customer service employees in Spanish and that helps me a lot. And the technicians from other countries, some are patient when using Google translator, there are others who are not, these are the technicians who are in their country.

    So I bought a laptop for the first time in a long long time. I bought this to just be on the safe side. But I was recommended to buy because it does come in handy when a repair is needed. Geek squad it self has great employees who try to help out as much as possible.

    This is an essential service, if you are a computer hardware person if you are a layman. Get this. If there’s a problem they will fix it or replace it.

    Support is awful. My laptop was not delivered to my apartment and best buy was 0 help. Now I am out $1250 and don’t have a laptop. I was emailed that I’d be refunded then after the fact they say I’m not. Will never buy anything here again.

    Buying this saved me soo much money. My kid has managed to not only completely break one laptop but damaged the second one I got her after I replaced the first one she broke. When they told me they couldn’t fix her laptop I received a very large amount (the original purchase price of the laptop) on a gift card so I could afford to purchase a new one. I will never buy anything ever again for her without buying this protection too. Total life saver!!

    The reassurance you get for a replacement plan is simply unmatched with Best Buy and their large range of support across America. The competition hardly compares with GeekSquad!

    I came with uncertainties regarding my returned product and was greeted with insight on both my product and in-depth details about geek squad product coverages that ended up saving me hundreds just for becoming a member. Highly-recommend their services

    Great machine. It completely broke the day I bought it. But I got it on an “open box special” for like $300 so I wasn’t mad. The warranty completely fixed the machine and it has worked great since. I got it for my parents. They love it. It is lightning fast. Although they only use it for light browsing and email and printing documents.

    Great insurance against accidental breakage. I have been able to get a new computer for a much-reduced price when my computer had unrepairable damage. I was exceedingly please to have this protection. It costs a little more when purchasing the computer, but it proved to be a life-saver when the computer was damaged beyonf repair and I got a new computer almost free.

    Repaired computer touch screen

    I always purchased the warranty for any laptop I purchase. I usually need to use it at least once. This time the touch screen on my computer stopped working and I was able to bring it to Geek Squad and they shipped it off and the screen was replaced free of charge. The downside is that I found it surprising that Geek Squad could not do a screen replacement in the store and would need to ship it off and I would havento wait 5-6 weeks (supposedly due to COVID) to get my laptop back.
