So far so good. Wasn't able to get a manufacturers warranty but was able to add this. Seems like a good deal for laptops.

Haven't had to use it so I really can't say much about it. I don't usually get warranties but did this time.

Why did I pay out the nose for this protection if my laptop is to be misdiagnosed and I'm told I have to send it out for 4-6 weeks to be fixed. 4-6 weeks is an absolutely ridiculous timeframe, if I could go without my laptop that long then I wouldn't even bother getting fixed. Everyone is nice but 4-6 weeks is absurd especially when it is both less than 6 months old and I have purchased the extended warranty

Not the best protection plan, but it in theory should work.

I have not used my geek squad protection my laptop was stolen. It's unfortunate that theft isn't covered or even offered.

not always the best protection. had a difficult time trying to get a laptop replaced after multiple visits.

I took my Chromebook in because it quit working and it would not charge. I was ignored and told that I had to buy the $199.00 the Geek Squad Service Contract to be helped! Talked to Geek Squad person out on the floor and said if I had an extended warranty they send it to their repair shop and they would repair it or send me a new Chromebook. We went back to the Geek Squad and he talked to one of the Geek Squad and told him to help me with a Repair order and he kept saying to hold on for a few minutes while he helped another customer and eventually I left when he said I needed to make an appointment, for a Repair Ticket! That was bad Customer Service in my book!!! I won’t go back to the South Wadsworth store!

An excellent thing to have. I love the protection and all that it covers. This was a great investment.

Not was it, i was having problems and they said they could not fix. Wanted to come out to fix, but would charge me $50.00

Bought the 3 yrs geek protection for the laptop that just not working properly and we ended up returned the laptop. But they won't let you get the credit for the $69.99 protection plan. And after argued a lot with different customer serv. finally got it back, only with gift merchandise... so dissapointed :(

I bought the plan for our printers and small electronics as those always seem to break and have had amazing support from Best Buy. That's why I got it for the laptop I bought and have had NOTHING but problems with it (it has been in 5 times for the same thing in less then a year) and they talked me into the software protection ( another pricey plan) because they said it was software issues and they still have not gotten it fixed! You can get insurance on a laptop cheaper with your homeowner's insurance and it can last much longer!

I wish they would reduce the coverage protect plans. It is too expensive. However, Best Buy protection plan are very good.

Hope I dont gave to use it, but is comforting to know if something happen it will be taken care of.

This is a must have if you have electronics. I have used them before and they did a great job with transferring information.

I’ve seen really amazing warranties, and I’ve seen terrible ones. This warranty is appropriate in a lot of aspects, only because it’s on the pricey side of things. I can’t be upset, since I bought it. I guess you pay extra for the peace of mind.

My plan expired four days ago, and Best Buy would not honor the fact that I paid $260 for it and didn't make a single claim in the two years I had coverage or even offer a discounted repair service.

Just bought this on Christmas Eve for my daughter and it will not hold a charge at all. I even had her wait to charge it 3 different times until the battery was very low to build it up and make it stronger and it’s horrible!! She barely has anything downloaded on there.. very disappointing

The agent is fixing my laptop now. Haven’t known whether they completely fixed or not yet, but their service is great.

Decent price? I guess so. Brother got it for his laptop. Hopefully if he needs it there won't be any problems using this.
