The agent happily helped detect the damage to my laptop and sent it in for maintenance. Was very helpful and knowledgeable on my protection plan.

Always buy the protection plan it is worth every penny. 10/10

Geek squad are some good ppl…will definitely refer family and friends

I got this for my son's school Chromebook. His first one broke while in a padded and hardcase/shell just from falling off a desk. We used this service and got a decent amount back towards a new one. Did take over a week to get analysis completed and get my refund, so that was a challenge. It ouke be noce if BestBuy figured out how to speed that up.

Geek squad stands by their warranty. Only thing i dont agree with os 5 days after purchase. The system broke and had to replace the whole system and i had to buy a new warranty for 80$. I feel the 2 year warranty should have transferred to new system. Or should have only had to pay the 5 days prorated to bring it back to 2 years.

Best buy is the only store that i know that they wont fail with their protection plan

I purchased this Geek Squad Service, but I have yet to need to use it. Hopefully I won't need it, but is good to have if I do.

Bought a 3 year to make sure my laptop was covered for the long term! Any time ive used this warranty ive had a posotive experience!

I haven't had to use this service yet, but the coverage seems well worth the cost. I invested a lot of money into buying a new computer. The last computer I bought (from s different store) was only a couple hundred dollars, but I hated it and it broke shortly after purchasing it. I felt a lot more confident making my computer purchase this time knowing accident coverage for 3 years would cost less than half the cost of the computer itself. I definitely value the sense of security.

I would have been out of a computer if not for the Geek squad service plan. I had a dell 2 in 1 that had a faulty camera and fingerprint scanner. I sent it to dell under warranty, and they couldnt even fix the problem! Luckily i purchased the service plan and the Geek squad was 100 times more helpful than dell. I am so happy, they are going to replace the computer in its entirety because they couldnt get it to work, even after ordering new parts and installing them. Thank you!

This protection is perfect because you're covered when you have an accident. I bought this computer for the shop and the guys aren't always the most careful. I knew it would come in handy eventually.

We encourage a warranty incase any accidents happen. You never know if you will need it and we are thankful we got this!

Should have opted for longer plan. My laptop fried almost exactly a year into having it and geek squad sent it off for repair and had it back to me before my finals were due!

Great computer for my college student! It was super easy to setup.

So far so good. I had to have computer repaired and was done at no cost to me. Also-they sent me a new cord for free.
