With 3 year protection, peace of mind is always a guarantee no matter what happens! There is no price tag for that and its worth every dollar! Everyone should always get the extended warranty for this reason. Anytime I have needed it the process to replace the product has been amazingly quick and easy.

Great comfort with accidental damage protection for my new laptop. Haven't used it yet and sincerely hope that it is never needed, but it is a great comfort to have the protection there if something bad happens....

You need to get this if you have a clumsy daughter like mine. She dropped her computer down a flight of stairs. It was very broken.... they fixed it no issues. No charge than his i got the protection.

Allow me to preface by stating that I'm disabled, I don't drive, and I don't have a person that can take me to Best Buy. Upon calling Geek Squad, since my new Chromebook has been defective since day one, the representative instructed me that I'd have to come in. I explained to him that I couldn't do that. He then offered to have someone come over for an extra $150 (ballpark). That's about all I have to say about that.

The process of getting a replacement or repair from Best Buy Geek Squad is very easy and carefree. You can either schedule an appointment online or over the phone. Once you have scheduled an appointment, a technician will come to your home or business to diagnose the problem. If the technician can fix the problem on the spot, they will do so. If the problem is more complex, the technician will take the device back to the shop for further diagnosis and repair. I do this with any major purchase from Best Buy. Manufacturer warranties often require you to return the unit before they repair or replace the item with a refurbished one. The process can take time. Best Buy is quick and easy.

Haven’t used it yet, but knowing I have a safety net makes me more comfortable. I had a previous laptop that I spilled a drink on and it fried it. I had no protection plan then. So this time I decided the protection plan was worth it.

I always get the geek squad protection because it comes in handy with kids in the house. my last lenovo yoga my kids dropped and i just took it to the fine people at Best Buy and they weren’t able to repair it but they replaced it with no issues

Great service. The only complain I have , is that the warranty wasn't extended lol Had one problem with my laptop , took it to geek squad , they had to send it in, a week later I had it back fixed. I loved the service

Heck yeah I would definitely buy again! You just never know what is going to happen with new electronics! Peace of mind is priceless! Okay well maybe it does have a price! But it’s worth it!

In my 10 years of purchasing all types of computers, from desktops to laptops, and windows based to Apple products, I always opt for getting at least the 2 year extended warranty, and it has always been well worth the added cost. Sometimes the product was damaged by me accidentally, and other times the laptop simply died within the 2 year warranty timeframe. Regardless of why, Best Buy always either fixed the product at no cost to me, and my extended warranty remained intact for the duration of the original warranty. Or, Best Buy replaced the product with the same item, if it was still in stock, or I was given a full refund of the price of the laptop onto a store credit card so I had that much money to use towards the purchase of a new laptop of my choice. The extended warranty is used up when the item is totaled out, meaning that amount is not refunded, so you need to repurchase the extended warranty when you purchase the new product, which is always worth it.
