    Best service for electronics

    This is great service for any electronic you purchase. I recently purchased a tab that unfortunately was having problems and after a few months started glitching. It fell so the screen was a bit cracked at the corner and i went to geek squad. They credited me for the price of tab and plan i payed that i used to purchase another.

    Haven't had to use it yet hope she don't . I bought just in case of user error if repairs should be needed I'm sure a best buy will be close to her collage.

    Partial service each time I needed a repair

    I sent my device in twice to get repaired but both times they only did a partial job of fixing my computer. The first time I needed my computer back since I didn’t have time to send it back in again after waiting 6 weeks to get it back since I needed it for my work and studies but the problem was that after having the keyboard replaced the D key on the new keyboard popped out within less than a month but I was not going to send it back to get repaired for that long with the other issue since I urgently needed my computer in whatever shape or form it was in. The second time I sent it in to fix the keyboard issue along with the previous issue but when I received it back after 2 weeks they fixed only the keyboard issue even though I specifically mentioned that they forgot to do it the time before. I asked them to send it back in due to a partial repair despite needing my computer since I’d rather not have to come back a third time for the same issue they missed twice and have currently waited 20 days since the last update on the current status of my computer. Hopefully they’ll either successfully repair the issue or find some other way to resolve this ongoing incident.

    Haven’t had to use this extended warranty yet but I understand that Best Buy protection products are in another class when it comes to honoring warranties.

    What can you say geek squad does great things they always fix my things when I need them or tell me what I need to do to replace parts or all of it so they’re useful

    I had no problem returning my son's laptop for repair after spilling something in it. The problems came after when I was supposed to come in for replacement since they couldn't repair his and they gave me a gift card instead of just giving me another laptop. I'm still not happy at all. I had to use part of my gift card for a new printer or laptop for myself just to put with his gift card to replace his computer. I bought his on Black Friday so yes of course there's no laptops close to the same price. Well definitely think twice next time I'm buying a laptop or anything such. I couldn't even afford the extended warranty coverage this time. I'm very disappointed with best buy.

    Insurance if you need it

    Like any type of insurance, you only get your money's worth if your product actually breaks and you need to use it. In my case, my laptop did break and they fixed everything for free. Had I not had the service plan, it would have probably been too expensive to bother fixing at all. Very glad I had it.

    I always buy my laptops at Best Buy. Part of the reason for that is because of the available warranty. I travel all the time for business and need a warranty that is good at any Best Buy. I have had to use these warranties before and have never had a problem having them honored. I would not buy a computer without one!

    I haven't needed to use it yet, but I have in the past and must say it's amazing! My first computer had some power issues and with this bundle I was able to bring in at no additional charge!

    I find this service to be a life saver everytime I get in a jam. Mostly use the online service to solve my problems. I have not found them unable to help me. The only problem is when I try to use the store now that we have Covid-19 issues. No it is not cheap but it keeps me from running to some store and leaving the computer to be picked up later. So I am keeping it in place unless I reduce myself to one new computer under warrenty and if I buy it at Best Buy at Christmas I get free Geek Squad service, or that is what it was two years ago.
