So far, I have not needed to use the Geek Squad Accidental Protection Plan for my new Lenovo Flex 5i 2 in 1 Laptop. However, what they offer is a great service after the original manufacturer warranty expires. Even in the first 12 months, they will diagnose if they can help with an issue and then help send the equipment back to the manufacturer if needed.

My tech specialist transferred all data from my old desktop computer to my new laptop that I wanted to retain. He also helped me load a new program I had purchased to prepare the new years tax return for 2024. Then he spent time showing me how to use features on the laptop! He was very kind and knowledgeable. This hands on training was very helpful as I had never owned a laptop or touchscreen computer. The transition has been smooth with such great help.

It's always good to have a protection plan for your computers and phone. Best Buy Geek Squad is good but not the best. First you need to get it and appointment just to bring it in, absolutely nothing can be fix when you come in which they use to do. Now you must leave your product and wait for a fix. Next you need to make another appointment to pick it up, which can take up to a week or more. They have nothing in their program that lets you know if they have a cancelation to get in earlier. So, getting anything fix could take at least a couple of weeks or More. I'm glad that everything is covered but not happy about getting in and out of repairs.

Been using geek squad for 20 years, always worth it

I am so happy i purchased this protection plan for my touchscreen laptop. I somehow got a crack in the screen of my computer which caused it to act crazy. I had to disable the touchscreen just to do basic things and the manufacturer would not cover this issue under their 1 year warranty without an additional fee which was much more expensive than this protection plan. Geek squad was able to fix my screen with no questions asked and it only took them a week to do it which was less time than what they originally quoted me. I was in the middle of nursing school at the time and really needed my laptop so I was super happy about that. This plan is definitely worth it!

Let's see how it goes. I have zero display, so could not complete required tasks for this visit. Will they just wipe my system without a care in the world, or will they take care like this was their grannies and make sure nothing is lost.

Life is full of surprises and not all of them are good. I glad to have peace of mind should my Lenovo crashes or I need some help with it. It's nice to know that my new Lenovo is in good hands should I need a helping hand.

If any damages come along the way, I have three years on this protection plan to get my laptop fixed or replaced. I take my laptop on the go most of the time so this plan was worth it for me!

I can use a computer, but fixing it is a whole different story. My laptop stopped work. I was very concerned because I homeschool and need to be able to access a lot of information and records. I took it to Geek Squad and they gave me a fairly long "possible" time. It actually took less than 1/2 the time quoted, and it turned out my battery was just completely dead, so it was replaced at no cost! I usually don't buy warranties but I'm super glad I did and that it worked out so well.

Geek Squad is a great investment. I haven't needed to use them often, but the two times I did were good experiences.

So thankful my mother-in-law talked me into getting this when I purchased my laptop back in late 2020. About 14 months later my laptop screen suddenly stopped working. You could hear the computer turn on, but the screen- nothing!!! Took it into Best Buy/Geek Squad. They had it about a 4-5weeks, but were unable to get the part to fix it within the contract terms. Therefore, I was eligible for an exchange. They kept me updated throughout and the exchange in-store was very easy. Calling the Best Buy phone number/customer service....that's a completely different story. BUT, working with Geek Squad and the in-store people was an excellent experience given the circumstances.

Decent price knowing that I will be using this laptop everyday. Definitely read what it covers though.

Very good price to get what we needed. At our age, by the time this expires, Im not sure we will even be using a computer.

I have always liked having Geek Squad services. They've always been super helpful and I have never had an issue with them resolving an issue.

Great laptop when on sale, couldn't see spending full price but it plays any game I've thrown at it on high settings or better
