Never used the 1 year guarantee because my mom loves the laptop

Hopefully you never need to use it. But it's good to have. The downer is that you'll have to go without the device while it is being serviced. Most of the time the repairs are adequate. Getting an appointment for a GS visit at the store is a pain.

I went to you're store and got a one year protection plan at the geek squad But the Reason why I did that I was having problems with my computer And needed a power cord So they told me it was going to be mail to me on September 2 and I haven't got it yet

it's expensive compared to other places with warranty but if it's bad, you do get the money back in credit though

Great laptop, easy to set up, actually quite surprised at how quite it was. Nice little extras, like the fingerprint id. Would recommend this laptop, great price for mid range laptop!

Would never get a piece of tech from Best Buy without buying the protection plan. It is 100% worth every penny and the Geek Squad really knows their stuff.

The comprehensive protection plan is well worth the peace of mind it provides. While I honestly hope to never use it, I am certainly glad it is available and provides such excellent coverage.

Easy to use protection plan. The price went down as so did some of the services but ut still is a good plan.

Please get these with your laptops especially. I didn’t get for one of them and I accidentally damaged it. I have my regrets and experience from that incident

The service is good at Best Buy but you’ve always got to make a appointment. This computer is ok for what I needed it for . So far so good

There is not a significant purchase that I will turn down an extended protection from Best Buy. They stand behind my purchases and provide "peace of mind" dealing with an accidental situation.
