always purchase geek squad with everything. have always been very helpful with service and advise.

Had to get it for a gaming laptop. You never know when electronics are gonna quit. Better safe than sorry.

I think that for the price that I paid for Geek Squad, it is not worth it. I would prefer to have a plan that allows customers to replace items with newer items. Especially for the product a customer pays for. Overall accidental protection is great but is not really used for those who are very careful with their items

Without this your laptop woukd never be fix. This is just in case something happens. The price isnt that bad for 1 year so why not get it.

We had to use it a bit, and aside for having to spend a long time at the store -- both waiting in line and then being helped -- it was worth it.

I do not buy a laptop or iPad without also getting the Geek Squad protection. My iPad stopped charging after 8 months and Best Buy ended up just sending me a new one.

I would never buy a laptop, camera, etc... without the geek squad for at least 2 yrs preferably 3, bcuz cost out of pocket to replace is a joke in this market.
