    I bought the accident insurance for 3 years, hoping not to have to use it, but it gives me a lot of security to have it even though in the end I might not use it, than not having it and being exposed to an accident with nothing to give me some security. I have had to use accident insurance before for other products and I have had no problem with the people at BestBuy providing support.

    I had an excellent experience at Best Buy! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to help me find what I needed. Great selection and smooth checkout process. Highly recommend!

    My Surface Pro 3 was dying on me and was old. I took it in for service because my Word and Chrome would not load up. They said it could be a a motherboard or possible hardware problem. I tried several times to see if they could fix it because it kept hanging on me. They suggested I do a data dump and look at getting another computer. I bought it in 2015 and it's now 2020. I loved my Pro but had to purchase a new laptop. My HP Envy x360 is awesome! I bought them both from Best buy and love the products. I will buy my next one from them too. The Geek Squad helped me get Office installed, set up Webroot and worked with me on getting it ready for use all over the phone. I really like my Reps. professionalism, knowledge and patience. That's my I purchased the 2 year protection plan with them. I won't let it go. It's paid for itself many times. Great investment!!!

    I purchased the 3-Year Accidental Geek Squad Protection for my Lenovo Yoga 7i 16" laptop. I try my best to avoid eating and drinking around my laptop, but sometimes I just got to have a drink with me. In the event something does happen, I know I am protected. I hope I do not have to use the protection I have covered for my laptop. If I never have to use the protection it is not a loss of money for having it.

    Geek squad is always a great service for anything you buy with Best Buy. If you get it on a device for $200 or less you basically can just exchange the faulty/damaged item and get a new one or credit. A little too high of a price in my opinion though for computers or other higher priced devices. $260 for 3 years is a little steep.

    It's always good to have a protection plan for your computers and phone. Best Buy Geek Squad is good but not the best. First you need to get it and appointment just to bring it in, absolutely nothing can be fix when you come in which they use to do. Now you must leave your product and wait for a fix. Next you need to make another appointment to pick it up, which can take up to a week or more. They have nothing in their program that lets you know if they have a cancelation to get in earlier. So, getting anything fix could take at least a couple of weeks or More. I'm glad that everything is covered but not happy about getting in and out of repairs.

    I am so happy i purchased this protection plan for my touchscreen laptop. I somehow got a crack in the screen of my computer which caused it to act crazy. I had to disable the touchscreen just to do basic things and the manufacturer would not cover this issue under their 1 year warranty without an additional fee which was much more expensive than this protection plan. Geek squad was able to fix my screen with no questions asked and it only took them a week to do it which was less time than what they originally quoted me. I was in the middle of nursing school at the time and really needed my laptop so I was super happy about that. This plan is definitely worth it!

    the laptop usually runs hot around 80 degrees when not gaming.. but when in gaming.. it's still hovering around 80. the memory ram is not upgradable (soldered) i wish there was more usb-a slots.(only 2) no ethernet adapter performance: pretty good for a laptop. the sound is great! OLED HDR screen! i'm happy with my purchase.

    So thankful my mother-in-law talked me into getting this when I purchased my laptop back in late 2020. About 14 months later my laptop screen suddenly stopped working. You could hear the computer turn on, but the screen- nothing!!! Took it into Best Buy/Geek Squad. They had it about a 4-5weeks, but were unable to get the part to fix it within the contract terms. Therefore, I was eligible for an exchange. They kept me updated throughout and the exchange in-store was very easy. Calling the Best Buy phone number/customer service....that's a completely different story. BUT, working with Geek Squad and the in-store people was an excellent experience given the circumstances.
