Almost everything I buy at Best Buy I get the Geek Squad Protection. It has saved me a ton of money. Recently I bought a new laptop and it was defective where the screen detached from the keyboard. I took it into Best Buy and they ordered me a brand new one. Great service, never have to worry about a bad product ever again with the geek squad protection plans!

I always have great results purchasing Geek sqaud protection. My brand new computer (refurbished) had a blown speaker. They fixed it and I had my computer back within 2 weeks. I will always add this service because you just never know. Well worth the added cost each time.

The quality of this laptop is great. I was skeptical at first when purchasing but after using it, I must admit that it is above my expectations!! Affordable and reliable!!

Geek Squad service means peace of mind concerning the maintenance of my computers. I will have my Macs serviced under this policy.

Good if needed and always a reassurance if something happens

The Geek Squad rep. gave me a candid and quick diagnostic response, and informed me of my options to either replace the laptop at the store I made the purchase at or he could send it to the manufacturer, which would take up to two weeks. Based on this I decided to take it back to the store I first made my purchase in order to replace it. This was the best decision, and I am satisfied.

I don’t normally buy extra protection but decided to get it on my new laptop. Good thing 8 months after I bought it everytime I unplugged the computer from the power supply the computer completely shut down. I brought it in and was told it could take two weeks or more to get back depending on what was wrong. To my surprise it was back in 4 days. They changed the battery and did some other repairs and so far I’ve had no more problems. Great service

I got on my daughters laptop before she left for school. About a year or so after having the laptop her fan went bad, Was easy to make an appointment to have assessed, they had to send the laptop out for repair. They kept us informed of the status every step of the way. She had t had any issues since getting it back. Can’t imagine what it would have cost if I didn’t have the coverage!

Overall, Geek Squad protection does provide instant ease of mind. Though it isn't the best protection out there, it is quite convenient when purchasing items with Best Buy to add on their protection plan(s). The cost is usually fair/competitive and the coverage is fairly decent. So, if you aren't hard on your purchases, the everyday wear and tear protection this service provides are just enough.

This laptop is capable of gaming at a very high performance. I bought this when it was on sale for a really great price and I never looked back. Highly recommend for a budget friendly gaming laptop. Only reason it’s a 4/5 and not 5/5 is that it doesn’t have a number pad. But Microsoft sells a wireless one that made up for it.

Best warranty to purchase, most stuff i do add the warranty

I have alit of gadgets and I have leaned over the years that one of the best thing to get when buying electronics is some kind of protection. I love geek squad protection from Best Buy. Very affordable and the squad is very helpful if you have a problem. Also the price is great to me. I purchase alit if high end electronics and I always protect a high value investment.

I need a warranty and never get an item without it. The only gripe I have is that if your device isn't able to fixed you don't get reimbursed for the payment plan, just the cost of the item.

Always but with all appliances and electronics. Ive had to use it once nad it paid off.

Purchased few weeks ago i5 runs faster then I thought. Screen bright and colorful. Only negative things are back-lit keys I miss takes time to find right keys I guess in time i will get used too. Power button needs to be a button not a bar, I have big fingers.

Love this option. Very convenient and it's right inside the store i already shop at. Well worth it and not that expensive!! Totally recommend and they set up my laptop for me after purchase to get me going...

Agent at North Fayette Pittsburgh was not knowledgeable at all. Took my laptop andcsent to service center when laptop was still under manufacturer warranty. Now they want to charge for the service. Have bern trying to contact Geek Squad manager for over a month. Left voicemail, 2 messages, and an email. Still no response.

we love having our 1-year extended warranty because sometimes the factory does not cover everything the initial warranty so when we have Best buy we know that it'll be covered The Price is Right my wife loves to get the warranties I love to get to warranties my teenager loves getting warranties there's no way we would not get a warranty without buying any product from Best buy thanks Best buy

I have two little kids who like to touch my computer. With it being touch screen, the two year protection plan seemed essential and it covers so much!

Haven’t had to use this yet but I’m glad I purchased this one year protection plan. Now I know my computer has protection for anything that could happen
