Although I just purchased my new laptop I wish I would’ve said yes to buying this for the last one. A friend did something to ruin my last laptop and the warranty had expired just the week before so I had to get a new one and pay for it as my friend of course has zero money and I had no extended service plan.

I'm glad I got the warranty since I'm clumsy and a lot of drops and skills occur at home lol and with the warranty the laptop gets replaced for free as long as you can give it to them and they can't fix it, or they'll fix it for you

Awesome house computer for simple stuff to do for yourself and kids

I have the peace or mind that I have Geek Squad for anything the warranty wont cover.

Expensive protection needed for non technical types who don't have light touch with electronic equipment. Long term college protection planning. Doesn't cover software only hardware physical damage. Doesn't carry over to new computer even with two years left on the plan after older computer couldn't be repaired, sucks

I had to replace my laptop 6 months after purchase. However, once my laptop was replaced, Best Buy canceled my 3 year plan, So, instead of honoring the remaining 2 1/2 years by applying it to the new replacement, if I still wanted coverage, I would have to now purchase the Totaltech plan. So, this means that if I get coverage for the new laptop, then in a 6 month span, I will have now basically purchased TWO plans for ONE laptop. This makes the Geek Squad plan worthless and costly, since the manufacturer's warranty would've covered the cost WITHOUT any additional coverage. Hopefully Best Best can make some adjustments to their replacement policy.

I really like my laptop. works well for the price I paid

Within Three weeks my son broke the screen ( accident). A month later the whole system crashed. Geek squad replaced the screen within a week. They had to replace the hard drive and reinstall the system when it crashed, again it was done in a timely manner and best of all I didn't have to pay any extra charges.

we always buy from best buy when comes to electronics because its the best way to keep them in good shape

I have only had to use the geek squad service a couple of times and they are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable

This has to be one of the best protection plans. Geeksquad always takes care of your device. Service is usually fast and professional. I still recommend that you check your product before you leave the store and make sure the service is done right. I highly recommend Geeksquad protection, accidents happens as life happens.

Totally worth the piece of mind. The more complex these devices get, the more ways they have to fail.

The whole process of getting my laptop replaced was, just that, a process. I had to call geek squad support multiple times talked to multiple different departments, and at the end of the day they didn't even replace my device they just gave me a gift card and I had to buy a whole new computer. Also I find it crazy that I paid for a 3-year geek squad plan only used it for 4 months and got zero reimbursement for the other two and a half years.

Best Investment ever! Spilled tea over my computer and they were able to refund the full amount the computer ( I actually bought it on sale and they refunded the full non-sale amount since it was no longer on sale) Can't recommend this enough!

I haven't had to use it yet for my wife's new Laptop, but it's handy, and They make it right when it's needed. I've bought this before on some items, and BestBuy and the Geek Squad has always worked it out for us. Thanks!

The protection price is good for what it's worth and I can rest assured knowing I don't need to worry about accidents.

Getting this was a great gift for my father in law. He truly enjoys it and would recommend it to anyone

I can use my computer and not worry about dropping it, spilling on it or traveling with it. Chances are if you buy the two-year accidental plan you'll never need to use it. But if you don't buy it you will have an accident with your computer just plan on it! I've never regretted buying the 2 yr plan and it's renewable!

Amazing fast and easy I had scratches and like it was really bad for the screen they fixed it up super fast loved it.
