My son has been using it for few months now for his school and academic. It has been pretty good so far.

I have only tried to use the Geek Squad service, so this review is based on that. I used the live chat feature to contact the Geek Squad right after setting up my computer. I asked for help with the lighting when I used the camera. It seemed like it should be an easy fix for someone familiar with the computer. I was told I would have to take my computer in for service, and was given a number to call to set that up. I wasn't interested in traveling 45 miles to the nearest Best Buy, so worked on trying to fix the issue myself. I think I have resolved the problem, but I would have appreciated some help without a two-hour travel time.

I had an issue with a computer I just bought 6 months ago from Best Buy... they were great, made an appointment, they assessed it.... determined it was a hardware issue, shipped it back to the manufacturer... the manufacturer fixed the problem and had it back to Geek Squad in about a week. They tested the computer before I picked it up... When I got it home everything worked like a brand new computer, no more problems... Geek Squad rocks

The good squad was very helpful when solving my issues with my laptop. The staff were very friendly and helped me through the whole process. I had wrinkles in my screen and they were able to help me get that issue resolved. Would highly recommend this for warranty for everyone!

This Protection Plan just makes sense for us to have. I love the new laptop computer and I need to keep it working. Since the computer is a laptop, it is constantly "on the move" around the house. I love my wife, however, she is accident prone (and she freely admits it!) and we have a bit of a rambunctious pooch, so accidents can happen. Therefore it made sense to get this Protection Plan with our new and constantly used laptop computer!

Definetly needed! It will cover the cost if this device accidentally drops!

I purchased the three-year Accidental Geek Squad protection for my new HP spectre laptop. I have not had the need for any repairs as of yet so I'm unable to know how well this will work. Unfortunately, in the three times that I've taken my laptop in, I found the local Geek Squad to be less than personable with interactions. Every service seems to have an additional charge and I completed the set up on my own. Several days later, I received an email inviting me to come in for assistance. When asking specific questions, I did not find Geek Squad members to be very knowledgeable. Truly a disappointment! I wonder if I should've gotten the insurance from HP directly but didn't know about this when I purchased my computer.

Great investment. If I had not purchased it I would have regretted it. I ended up having to bring it in and have it replaced. Geek squad did everything they could for me in a timely manner. Watch out for those gaming laptops they will sucks out your battery life very quickly. Thanks.

I have always found Geek Squad to be very responsive and the work they do is top notch

So far so good. I’ve not had to use it yet for this item, but I purchased it as a precaution due to Best Buy’s warranties have always helped me when I needed them. I drop and break my laptops, cell phones, etc more often than I’d like plus I also have three kids. This plan is a must.

I have always had great experiences and always left. Happy with whatever the problem was taking care of. they are very friendly and do everything in their power to make sure that they fix whatever the problem is.

Having the Geek Squad protection has saved my bacon more times than I could count . Laptops built today are so many sensitive parts and are pushed to their performance limits odds are you will have to deal with a repair . Instead of dealing with the manufacture, you set an appointment, drop it off and get it fixed .. They have added a “repair cost limit” before you pay out of pocket , but I’ve never reached that limit . It’s worth it

Excellent processor and touch screen works well my only problem is with the micrsoft office software. Once purchased its all Edge you cannot choose or have google as your search engine nor do you have google chrome which a lot of schools use for procturing with HonorLock for testing or homework submission. HonorLock btw is a horrible program it never works properly.
