I purchased the agreement for the warranty purposes and it worked amazing

Be sure to check the terms and conditions on what form of reimbursement you're entitled to receive if your product could not be repaired. I bought a computer gaming monitor and it failed after a few years, still within the GSP-R plan. The assessment from a Geek Squad manager was that it could not be repaired, so they reimbursed me in the form of store credit on a gift card. When I questioned them on other forms of reimbursement, they told me it was the only option. I looked into the GSP-R March 1, 2020 - September 20, 2022 terms & conditions, I noticed that Section 7.b stated "Reimbursing you for the costs towards the purchase of a replacement product of like kind, quality and comparable performance with a store credit, gift card, or check in an amount not to exceed the non-discounted Best Buy retail price, including taxes, of your Covered Product at the time you purchased it." This made it sound like I was entitled to a check option. I spoke with multiple agents, including three specific representatives—a customer care agent online, a gift card department agent over the phone, and a reimbursement department agent over the phone. All three confirmed that I was correct and eligible for a check reimbursement. The third agent from the reimbursement dept. was kind and patient to look through the terms & conditions more carefully and pointed out to me section 12.c.III says "For all other Covered Products (apparently my monitor falls under this), except when covered by a Continuous Monthly Plan, our obligations will be fulfilled in their entirety if we replace your Covered Product with a new product or if we issue you a store credit or gift card as explained in Section 7(b)." - So, because this section only mentions store credit or gift card, I wasn't eligible for check reimbursement.

The whole return process was very smooth and quick.

Protection is key for electronics and back up protection from geek squad.

Do yourself a favor, get it. You never know what’s going to happen and you don’t want to get caught flat footed!

If you are buying a gaming component or hardware, Always spend on your investment some money for minimal down time, So buy geek squad service plan and keep yourself worry free. In all honesty you never know when something would happen to your investment, a 4 years service plan is an awesome package. I love it and let all my friend and family purchase it. And if you buy a lot of PC components and hardware go ahead and buy the total tech and everything is covered.

Nice to know that the squad is at the ready to get me back up and running if needed

One team member helped me for over a half hour this day, built a whole pc online, we had a lot of fun looking through different builds that worked for me.

It’s definitely worth placing this warranty of expensive tvs and curved monitors. Look at the details of the plan, nothing beats it.

Piece of mind for an expensive electronic device. If it fails, Best Buy will with fix or replace it for four years.

Haven't had to use it yet but feel safer knowing it's here if need it

I have not had to use them yet, HOWEVER, I lived in AZ a couple of years ago and had a best friend that worked at a store, she didnt work geek squad but she is the one that brought them to my attention. They have NEVER let me down. From bringing laptops back to life, repairing devices, and trying everything they can to make us happy. I am beyond pleased with the Geek Squad!!!

Great deal. Bought a monitor a few years ago and it suddenly started losing picture randomly for a few seconds. Brought it into the store and they told me to go pick out a new monitor. Fast and easy.
