Best Buy protection plans have always worked out well for me, especially when purchasing large items

4 years of coverage is a great investment especially because you won’t have to stress about spending a lot of money to buy it again

4 year term for this product is solid recommended , pricing wasn’t bad either would gladly pay for piece of mind

Easy set up. App control “normal non tech” person friendly. So far 2yrs in with no issues. Was a big upgrade from old router. Glad I went with this one. Money well spent

Previously never used Geek Squad Protection, however recently I started purchasing with higher end products and I couldn't be happier. I've had a few issues recently, Best Buy and the Geek Squad Protection handled it without question. Ultimately great value with incredible ease of use!

I always try to take advantage of the Geek Squad product replacement plan. I like being able to return an item if it goes bad without the hassle of shiping it off to someplace . Over the years I had to replace several products after they had gone bad and it was no problem to go into the nearest best buy and at times get the next generation of a product out if the model that I was using was no longer availble. So yes for me paying a few extra dollars was worth it. The only time that I might not pay for the extra protection is when the coverage that I am trying to get is close to a hundred dollars for the item, such as some tablets that I have bought, however that might depend on the item because I got coverage on a washing machine and a dryer at one time and although I may not have to ever use it at least I know that I am covered and for me that makes it worth the peace of mind that I will get. So in conclusion you have to way the risk that you are willing to take and for me it has worked out well over the years and I have no complaints.

I bought this product replacement in case my Starlink was damaged since it's outside. I haven't had to use it, but feel confident having it.

I have purchased the Geek Squad Product replacement plans on almost everyone I have bought from Best Buy over the past 5 years. One of the most hassle-free plans out there. I just bring it in and they replace with the same product and they allow me to purchase another one. In this day and age, equipment just isn't made as good as it used to be and I don't have to mess with waiting for items to be repaired or any complicated return process. Just bring it in and if they have the same item in stock, they will replace the defective item. When they have not had the same item in stock, I have been able to upgrade the item and pay the difference if the price is higher, which I don't mind either. This is a great deal!

This thing is a beast. strong signal and CONSISTENT. Its also the best looking unit I've had so I don't feel like I need to hide it.

I got my refrigerator replaced once and was happy. Depending on the price, I would stick with major appliances and electronics. If the item is like $200, and the protection plan is $39 don't waste your money .unless

Always, always, always get the protection plan on big-ticket equipment. It’s paid off on my microwaves (2), vacuum cleaners (2) and routers (1). It’s amazing how quickly things can die, like my router today (two months outside the one-year manufacturer warranty). On something $499, I do not want to have to re-purchase that twice in a year and two months if I can avoid it.

Geek Squad is fantastic! With electronics and appliances not lasting like they used to, GS has saved me a lot of money the last few years. I highly recommend spending the extra money to cover all your major purchases with Geek Squad.

Geek Squad blew my socks off with their amazing service I purchased an item that went bad 3 months after my 2 year Geek Squad warranty expired, and I was tentative but still gave them a call and I spoke to the most amazing agent on the phone that was able to make things happen for me and replaced the item to a slightly more expensive model being that the previous model I had is no longer available and only charged me the difference. I was blown away by this amazing service that I ended up purchasing 4 years warranty on the new product and will continually get Geek Squad protection on all my important gizmo moving forward. I have purchased several high priced routers to create an access point for my home. Worrying about one or more routers failing has been on my mind. But knowing this protection plan is in place really puts my mind at ease. I don't have to buy plans for each item, as they are automatically added when I buy them. Very convenient!
