    I had to have my internet and cable fixed after I connected it. That's why I wish I hadn't bought it, but at least I got my money back.

    This Netgear Nighthawk docsis 3.1 cable modem is junk. You pay for the Netgear name and that's is. Plastic junk, overheats, constantly resetting it and after 15 months is puked. Also, Geek Squad is a waste. Do it right, buy whatever it is via Amazon, you will get it in a day or 2 and no hassle fast returns or refunds.....

    Protection Plan is nice, but it doesn't work when they cancelled the order of the modem I bought. So now I have a protection plan with nothing to protect.

    We were having trouble with loss of signal. Since we have streaming tv service, it became irritating having programs interrupted. Netgear is working pretty good so far. There have been no tv interruptions. It was a little difficult to set up because I don't have WPS on the router. I had to set up with the Nighthawk app. I had trouble with that, as the app could not find my router. Advice; make sure your mobile phone is connected to the Netgear signal, not your home wifi Do that through the settings in your phone, you'll see Netgear as an option to connect to. Connect your wifi expander directly to the router. I used a yellow cable from my box of random cables. On your mobile, you will be asked to put in your wifi's name and password, then Netgear will connect. when you finish, you can disconnect the cable and move the expander to wherever you want it. It was an hour of stress, but it's worth it!

    I placed this geek squad protection plan for the replacement router but was refunded when i returned the original damaged item. Bad business that they've not wanting to honor the original price and purchase! 0 stars!

    Nothing but a rental plan

    Bring back a 90 day return policy and ditch these things. All they are is a rental plan with at most a forced gift card, so you get people stuck in the Best Buy loop.

    SAYS RETURNED THEY DID NOT RETURN MY MONEY JUST TOOK AND AND GAVE ME ANOTHER PIECE OF CRAP ROUTER THAT DOES NOT WORK! ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND THEY REFUSED TO COME OUT OF THE OFFICE.

    not worth the price. Not able to help me install the device on the phone. I figured it out myself. I would get a refund since it will never do me any good.

    Not good. Technical support is terrible. Technicians don’t have knowledge or training to solve technical problems over the phone.
