I am always wary on buying protection plans but highly recommend getting one for printers as they break down so frequently these days, best buy service plan is very reasonable...

Just bought my new printer so I haven’t had to use the Geek Squad!

First of all, it’s always a good ideas to purchase an extended warranty for new tech products. Second of all, geek squad has always been great in my experience, and should therefore be purchased; at least in my opinion.

The geek squad is a very valuable service to get. The agents are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I had to make an appointment which I guess allowed me to jump to the front of the line once they found out I was waiting for my appoint time which had passed already since the line was long. might be a better idea to have someone or a sign in sheet to allow them to look at so they know if someone with an appointment is waiting for them already instead of waiting in line behind people and missing the appointment time because they are waiting in line to get helped. other then that once you get someone they are pretty helpful. of course some techs are more helpful and knowledgeable then others so it's kind of the luck of the draw. I also don't like the fact that they want to keep your item for 6 days and expect you to live without it. they don't offer loners and not sure if they understand but if the item is used for your business that becomes a problem. over all I don't think I'll be buying this service anymore and if my product breaks I'll have to hope it's within the time frame I can return it so I can just get a new one or return it all together.

Bought for new coffee pot as last one the pot broke and could not replace for how much it would cost.

Must needed add on to any Best Buy purchased item. Insurance always seems to come in to play at some point. Majority of the times the accidents aren’t planned. So do yourself a favor!

I purchase protection for almost every purchase at Best Buy. I have always been pleased with the great customer service and support. A definite must have add on for teens! Has saved me way more money than I have paid over the years!

I took a old computer to The Geek Squad and have them check the system and put it all on a SD card and they removed the hard drive gave it back to me and kept the rest of the old computer it was awesome well worth the Geek Squad

I always purchase the extended warranty on my equipment so that if anything happens to it Best Buy will either have it fixed or replaced with the newest version on the market

Never deal with a product manufacturer again on my BestBuy product. I just go back to BestBuy and done. No waiting for a manufacturer to disappoint me with their excuses.
