4 years of service at this price is an excellent deal. Best part is being able to just drop the item off at Best Buy for repair, unlike the other after-market warranties that require you to troubleshoot the problem first and possibly have to ship the item. If they cannot fix it, they will replace it or give you a refund on the item. Also, this service plan is transferrable if you sell the item.

I had a great experience with Geek Squad. I dropped my device off that was not fixable and they sent me a brand new device!

Overall GSP is a good choice to make when buying products from Best Buy. It gives me a peace of mind that if I bought a good or questionable product that BestBuy will be there to make it right. I have some products that I will use regularl. y or that I highly depend on. I weight the knowledge of the product and pass performance of the product to decide if I should purchase GSP. Anything you buy over $20 I recommend getting. I have gotten some lemon products in the pass that didn't last or live up to the hype and general dissatisfaction. The Best Buy GSP has you covered.

I was amazed when I found out they did not work on printers! I was even more amazed when they replaced my 3 year and 10 months old printer with a brand new one!!! You can't beat that warranty anywhere!!

Having had an earlier Logitech keyboard/cover develop some wonky keys (I'm a touch typist since age 11, and get carried away sometimes and probably overdo!!) Buying this plan - especially if you are also hard on keyboards - is good value for money. I WAS a bit surprised (though I suppose I shouldn't have been) to be told that the warranty is specific to the (original) insured device. If you invoke the replacement, you get partial credit back for a protection plan for the replacement device. Just sayin'

I just renewed my Geek Squad. I find them very helpful. Sometimes the 1st tech on the phone can handle a smaller issue. If it is too difficult, then a higher level tech will jump in there remotely and handle in an hour or two. I have always eventually had my issues resolved, but their process can be lengthy sometimes because they might say the 2nd tech is scheduled to take remote access in 30 minutes and it ends up being 2 hours. Even though they are handling it remotely and say I don't have to be present, I do need to check their work and confirm it is fixed. In comparison to iYogi, which I used for years.. I might be on there for 2-3 hours, but there are no gaps. The reason I had to stop using iYoga though, is that that absolutely torment you about renewing your subscription. They would start hassling me in March for a subscription ending in August. It was non stop phone calls at all hours, even when I told them they had to stop. With Geek Squad recently, I didn't get any phone calls, just 2 emails telling me my last day. I respected that they respected my time. The other thing I like about Geek Squad I like is that I always have that option to schedule an appointment at their Best Buy counter. Options are good.

Always, always, always get the extended warranty on printers. I bought the 4-year extended on my Epson WF-7840 in April 2021 and that printer stopped working in March 2025. Easy replacement.

Good service plan and worth every penny for insurance properties.

We purchased LJ 901 5e Printer for our Ministry and this has given us a great deal of help and easy work. I teach from my print-outs and the clarity of the pages gives me a feeling of relaxation so that i can move along with the teaching smoothly. The worker on the floor that assisted us was very knowledgeable of what was best for us and for what we could afford.

I took my printer in because it stopped printing. I was not aware that Best Buy replaces instead of fixes printers. I was given a gift card to pick out the same or different one. It was a pleasant surprise as the printer I had gave me issues and I really did not want the same one.

I am hoping the price I paid for this coverage was worth it. It only covers the new printer if issues might arise. The best thing is that this coverage is for a specified period of time, and I like that.

While I am sure over the many years as a Best Buy customer I have spent more on warranties that what they have saved me I still think they are a good deal. There is never a problem with getting a replacement if you need one. My Fitbit HR died 4 times in a year because of sweat from working out. They replaced it 4 times no questions asked!!! Just had a Seagate drive fail and had it changed in less than 10 minutes in the store. I love just having the piece of mind that my stuff will be replaced or fixed if there is a problem. I just wish Apple would still let Best Buy sell there warranty over AppleCare. Apple won't even offer an extended warranty on Beats but Best Buy did till Apple stopped them. I had my daughter change to Bose when her Beats went for this reason. And always great service at Best Buy, Deptford NJ
