    I got the geek squad service as assurance for my 14 yr old. He can be rought sometimes and I feel this service will give us a piece of mind in case something goes wrong. Get it!

    Geek Squad Product Replacement is just simply a NO BRAINER for any Best Buy product that will have regular use or has a “price point” that you want to yourself from having to spend again during the time it’s protected! Biggest thing you have to do...is not do anything malicious to the product...and it’s protected!

    Now that most electrical products are recycled rather than repaired it's good to have protection for 4 yrs and this replacement coverage is the best way to go.

    I had to wait a long time to speak to an agent which caused me to forget a couple important questions; but I don't mind calling back because I was so pleased with how profesional they were on the phone. I hope I can use my rewards points in time for purchase!

    I love that Best Buy has Geek Squad, and that Geek Squad offers extended warranties! This give me peace of mind knowing should anything go wrong all I have to do is reach out to Geek Squad and they will come out and fix or replace the issue/product.

    Geek Squad had room for improvement

    Geek Squad definitely has room for improvement both in customer service and skill set. Have always managed to get me issue resolved but not timely. Geek Squad team members need mentoring by senior staff for customer service and improving skills. Computer based training should be implemented and be mandatory for the entire Squad team. The CBT must have a test at the end of each section to that senior staff can measure skill improvement. I would recommend to a friend hoping the above recommendation will be implemented.

    Although I have not need to use Geek Squad for my newest printer purchase, the price was right to cover the printer. I have had to call them 3 times for my lap top and each time they have been really helpful and I really like the way they understand I am not technologically minded and explain all the different steps so that I can understand. Well worth the extra few dollars for peace of mind.

    Worked for us. We purchased an expensive extended warranty for our overpriced printer. The printer died during the warranty period and the warranty guarantee was honored by Best Buy. We got a free replacement. The extended warranty was expensive, because the produce was costly.

    Purchasing geek squad coverage provides a great piece of mind. Knowing someone will be there to assist in the even of an accident is great to depend on when you have small children around. Anything can happen at any given moment and you want to have Geek Squad there to repair or replace should the time arise.

    You don't want to go home without this protection. The service is great and they will take excellent care of you if you have a problem with your product. I have purchased this for several other products and the one or two times I have had to use it saved me a lot of frustration and money.

    They couldn't help me. Couldn't suggest a different printer for my needs. I need to printer 11x 17 paper. They were unable to try to find me what I needed.

    No-brainer 4-Year Geek Squad Product Replacement

    Ordered the 4-year Geek Squad Product Replacement just in case. I'm not a just in case kind of person, but I had my printer, laptop, cell phone and kindle all go crazy within 3 weeks of each other. When I purchased my new laptop, the 4-year Geek Squad Product Replacement was a no-brainer.

    I bought a Brother laser printer for my son to use at school. I've been buying Brother printers for 20+ years with no problems. I decided to purchase the protection plan for $9.95. Believe it or not, the printer failed early and BestBuy replaced the printer with no haggling. That's a nice attitude in today's retail market.

    Total tech service has been really great, easy to get in for an appointment. Very friendly and informative. In person they are great but over the phone is not helpful for me, I feel like they pretty much just tell me to make an appointment and go in person

    the best thing about best buys product replacement warranty is the instant in-store replacement. I have used this many times over the years and it never fails - a new replacement item same day. Amazon may have cheaper and longer warranties, but they always require mailing in the defective device, which means you have to wait.
