While in the past, I have stayed away from extended warranties, as products would normally work for quite a while. Not so much anymore, as there is more quantity than there is quality put into the products. You just can't expect to have electronics or many other items to work as long as before. The Geek Squad warranty takes the pain out having an item go dead on you, in the 1st 2 years, regardless of the supposed manufacturers warranty.

I buy GSR on all major purchases. Murphy's Law has taught me that if something is going to break, it will be the day after the expiration of the manufacturer's limited warranty. My experience with the Geek Squad replacement process has always been positive.

I've learned never to purchase anything without a protection plan and the Geek Squad has followed through every way. There's never been a problem in identifying my purchases and they always follow up with a call to make sure everything is in working order.

When i purchase higher priced things i love to add the protection. Its very easy to turn in if you have an issue. I get this for my headsets cuz they dont last that long and i get my full price i paid to get a new one. Love it

I haven't had to use it (and maybe won't have to use it), however; I absolutely Love Best Buy's Product Replacement Service. I've used it on other products and have Never had an issue.

Purchased this to protect the new printer I bought to replace the last one that stopped working right after the manufacturer’s warranty expired. I didn’t buy this extra protection for that one. DOH!

I have always purchased geek squad warranties. They are pretty great about repairing or replacing the product it it breaks or is defective in any way. Thankfully for this particular product I have not had to use them. But it's security knowing that they are there if I need them.

Nice to know I am protected if I have any issues. If I need my items fixed or help setting them up I can just call.

Adding the Geek Squad extended coverage gives me a piece of mind if anything ever goes wrong. One year warranties fly by before know it, and it seems that just after that first year is over with, things break. With Geek Squad 2 year extended warrant, I am covered.

So worth the peace of mind, all you need is your digital receipt, some time to do some troubling shooting with the Geek Squad tech over the phone. If that didn’t work go to the store and exchange for another item. Easy!

Keep in mind that by the time you need to replace the item it may not exist anymore in which case you get a similar item or store credit .

I have used Geek Squad services multiple times over the yeara for computer issues and assistance with new product setup.

I’ve had 2 of my multiple printers go out and I would never buy another printer without buying the 2 year replacement warranty. They were great and replaced it with a new one without question.

I would not buy a product like this without the extended warranty. I haven't needed it, yet, but if it does break, malfunction or just plain quit working (in part or completely) then I'll have a brand new replacement without coughing up another wheelbarrow of money.

All my big purchases include the protection plan, it's 100% worth it. I had a hard drive fail 3 months in on a brand new laptop, I lost everything on that drive but since I was covered I dropped it off and they installed a new hard dive at no cost and loaded windows on it.
