    This 2 Year Geek Squad Product Replacement Plan was purchased for about $10 during same transaction when buying Gaming Headset many years ago. It actually proves to be useful when our Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset broke just a couple days before the 2 year Geek Squad warranty expires. We happened to be lucky as the warranty was still valid when the expensive Gaming Headset malfunctioned. It was quite easy to exchange for replacement product. Would not recommend for low to medium priced items. Would highly recommend for more expensive electronic items.

    The epson eco tank is by far the most efficient printer i have ever used. I recommend this item to anyone who does a lot of printing.

    Like always a good product especially if it's being purchased with a product that can break easily withing the time it will be used. Especially printers from HP which usually have ink carriage jams every year or so! All you got to do is bring it back and they replace the printer and let you rebuy a new warranty for the replacement. ~$20 a year is better than ~$200-400.

    I always buy the protection plans. Best Buy makes it easy by either swapping the device out in store or sending it to their service center. On large items (appliances and TVs) they will often come to your home and either fix or replace the item.

    Anyone buying a printer should get this plan. Originally we got it because we thought just before the two years we would trade in our old model for a newer one since the plan covers it. Instead this plan saved the day as the OfficeJet Pro 8760 we had was a NIGHTMARE. 2 printers that would not connect wirelessly to anything even though HP swore to us that they tested the second one they sent us as a replacement. With this plan we were able to find a different printer that now works great and it took all of 10 minutes in store to get the swap done. If you buy a printer get this plan!

    Peace of mind

    Fortunately, I have not had to use the warrantee but I purchased it for peace of mind. The Epson I purchased less than a year ago died and I was not willing to go with the cost (shipping) and aggravation of shipping back to the factory and waiting for weeks to get the problem resolved. With the warrantee, I can walk a defective unit into my local Best Buy and be back in operation in hours instead of weeks. I don't usually buy or recommend extended warrantees but my recent experiences with printers dying too early make this a suggested expense.

    I have purchased protection for a few different purchases. When I needed protection it was easy to get repairs, replacements or a refund. I was surprised at how easy it was when needed. I purchased 4 cameras, a dc player and several sets of speakers. They replaced one camera and refunded the full price of a different camera. I used that for an upgrade and purchased protection on that too. For smaller items, I might choose to not buy the protection.

    Replaced printer with New HP OfficeJet Pro

    I would highly recommend getting the Geek Squad Product Replacement, I had purchased a Deskjet Pro when I had to replace it with a new printer, I was able to use my replacement product and updated the printer to a better printer and then purchased a 4 yr Geek Squad Product Replacement and feel quite please that if anything goes wrong with this printer, I will be covered for a new printer. Great support from Geek Squad!

    I usually dont buy service plans but the price was so low it was worth the gamble. Especially since the printer failed after only a few years because a tiny plastic tab that held the ink cartridge broke and cost more to fix than to replace the printer.

    The product replacement plan covered the initial purchase price of my son’s broken headphones. I had to pay the price difference for the replacement headphones because the price increased. Keep in mind, once you use the 2-Year Geek Squad Product Replacement Plan, you have to purchase a new plan for the replacement item.

    The technician who assisted me with my printer issues was outstanding, and patient and worked hard to solve my network connection issues. He also consulted with Google Fiber tech support to ensure the settings were correct.

    Returned a printer because it was not a wifi. My mistake. The return was easy and was able to track with a confirmation that it safely made back to the store. My account was swiftly reimbursed.

    I'm a long time Best buy customer and I have been with their geek Squad program for a long time. It gives you peace of mind knowing your product would be replaced by geek Squad within a four year period.

    I generally shop at a specific Best Buy store and have found that each Store Manager establishes a Customer Service culture. I have never had any issues with getting what I was told was in the service plan at my preferred store. However, I didn't have the same experience at another store whose management and employee's customer service reluctantly or didn't want to honor the terms of the agreement or Best Buy's policies. When I called Best Buy's National Customer Service a representative advised me that Managers exercise their own discretion on defective items, returns, etc.
