I love the geek squad. Just make sure you call and make an appointment first because you may have to wait for a long time. If they are not busy no problem. It is not a waist of money because I have used the geek squad. I did have a computer that was 10 years old. Now I am updated with a new laptop computer. I made sure I still would be covered. Thank you.

Geek Squad has been super helpful, and always honest. I've never felt like they try to take advantage of me or my situations. I happily added the product replacement to my printer purchase recently because I actually trust that something will get done if I have any issues, which is different from services I have used in the past. I need a new printer with airprint as my old one (also Canon MF) did not have this function. After research and reading reviews from other buyers online, I bought this one. I was very surprised and pleased with how easy the setup was. Setup was all wireless, although wired option was also available. I was able to print wireless from all of my Apple devices: iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, and iMac. Print quality is excellent. I can not comment on long term use. I will review this printer again in 12 months.

I highly recommend getting a warranty, since a new printer and style can be costly down the road. Rather be safe than sorry.

Having the option to ask for help and get assistance with issues/setup really means a lot when purchasing larger electronics. I loved having a knowledgeable team help answer my questions.

No issues with my Geek Squad replacement warranties. I have had both 2 year and 4 year product replacement warranties. I have used them twice, the instore people are awesome, they made the replacement process easy and painless. Dealing with them over the phone was fine in one instance, the second time it was a long drawn out process, the agent was obvoius new and really didnt have any idea what he was doing but in both cases the agents were very courteous. It sounds like the agents on the phone were from an overseas call center, both had accents which were hard to understand and the phone connections seemed poor. The in store geek squad people were awesome and I have nothing put praise for how they well handled my concerns. I recommend purchasing the replacement warrany on anything that you consider critical or high use and exp e nsive. They made the replace process easy.

I always try to get this 4 year protection for my high value items that sooner than later will come in handy and is a lifeline to not worry of having to lose out but be assured that it is a win situation with this Geek Squad 4 year accidental protection when you really need it

I had this and it was for a pinter, and the printer died and they did honor the warrante. So I bought it again =)

Glad to have a warranty. Soon, I will have to utilize it because it is not printing in color like it suppose to. It will not print blue … Don’t really know how to rate but, I am confident Best Buy will help me. In the past, they have provided great customer service! That’s why I am giving Best Buy 5 Stars :)

I brought in my previous printer that was having problems and the Geek Squad immediately offered me a refund which I used to buy a new HP printer right away. I was able to get back to the jobs I needed to finish and print that same day. The service was friendly and efficient.

After years of experience with equipment lasting a long time, I was hesitant of purchasing unneeded insurance coverage I purchased a all-in-one system in 2020 reluctantly purchased Geek Squad Product Replacement. The printer system was used in a secondary pandemic location and did not see much use. The printer failed within 5 months and it took me 2 months to remember I had Geek Squad coverage. I took the printer in and Geek Squad immediately issued a pro-rated value towards the purchase of a new printer. Fast forward to 2021. An older all-in-one printer at my primary pandemic location finally bit the dust. A quick trip to Best Buy to pick up a new 9015e and based on prior experience, purchased a Geek Squad replacement agreement before I left the door. I have now added a label to these systems noting the Geek Squad agreement number and the coverage dates in case my wife has to replace them in the future.

I always try to get the Geek Squad Warranties for electronic items I buy that are above $50 or so and they usually pay off quite nicely! They usually don't cost that much more to buy and are well worth the peace of mind in knowing that you're pretty much guaranteed a working product for the duration of the warranty and sometimes for years beyond. Being able to get a good warranty is the main reason that I still buy most of my electronics from Best Buy. I will keep buying & recommending Geek Squad Warranties for as long as they keep providing quality services for quality products.

I had to use this service once when I brought back a very expensive rug shampooer that had quit working 3 1/2 years after purchase. Best buy (Geek Squad) took it back without any problem and I receive my original payment plus taxes in FULL. You can't beat Best Buy for service to the customer.

I've rarely ever needed to utilize a protection plan, but just knowing I have it if I need it makes it worth the money. Too many products are risky regarding quality and durability today. This insurance takes that concern away for me.
