    Better safe than sorry. Paid the insurance for 2 years, just in case. Price is cheap anyway.

    I never buy any electronics without purchasing the geek squad protection plan. They do what they say with no questions asked .

    Always a good idea to buy extra warranty with electronics as there is no guarantee there will not be any issues within the first 2 years!

    Best Buy has one of the best programs for product protection. I would never leave this protection up to an extended manufacturer warranty. Best Buy has a way better value with the comfort of knowing you will have a working product for the life of the Replacement Plan
