At Best Buy we always purchase warranty on big items. If they quit working during covered period, BB is the best. They give u what u paid to buy another one to replace item.

It is a good idea and option to buy the protection plan because one is never free from any failure or malfunction of the products and for the most part the factory warranty of the products is very limited so it is preferable to spend a fraction of the value of the item and have the assurance that you will be covered; I already had some experiences with other products from which I bought the Bestbuy protection plan and the truth is that I never had problems when enforcing the insurance, it is a good idea and investment.

I accidentally broke the camera. I took it to the store and they refunded my purchase.

It really is reasonable fair. I wanted to try the new Arlo Solar Charging Panels and just knew with them being a new product maybe all the kinks weren’t quite perfect. One of the panels went out within a few months (they were $90 each), and the geek squad protection was $12. Took the old panel in, and they went right to the shelf in the main store and grabbed a new solar panel and handed it to me. Just a smart investment of on some of your bigger expenses.

Don't think about it just get it. Especially for more expensive hard to replace purchases because when something happens they will fix or replace it. You insure your house and car so why not this, especially as a one time cost. I do wish they would find a way to reward the customers who don't need to use the plan like letting them use the cost in the form of a reward after it expires toward an upgrade or other item.

I would definitely protect your investment with the product replacement plan. It was so easy. My arlo cameras started to not hold a charge. They wasn't working properly so we took them in to our local BestBuy and they replaced them. Not a hassle or a question asked.

Very easy to use and charged for long periods of time

They looked at my product and they were able to determine that it needed to be replaced. Replacement processed fast and I even purchased another plan for my new cameras
