    Not Happy - sorry Best Buy

    Bought this for our new Dyson V6 vacuum. We assumed the vacuum was faulty. Keep getting a loss of power took it back several times and no solution given. So, we used the protection. Which ended the extended warranty. Turns out the filter needed to be cleaned. So we wasted our money. Not happy.

    They don’t fix things just ship them out and give store credit so if you bought something on sale at the time that’s what you get back and are stuck with having to buy a new product at the going rate which ends up being a lot more.

    Was told that the warranty would start after the manufacturers warranty expired, but found out a few days later thst it actually started on the date of purchase.

    I’m so impressed by the quality of service that comes with buying a Best Buy warranty. Every time I have an issue I’m quickly attended to with thorough customer service and my devices are quickly fixed or replaced. It’s the most hassle free experience I’ve ever had at a store, and is the reason I keep coming back to Best Buy for my products. It’s been a couple years since I bought my Dyson vacuum and I know that my warranty with them will quickly take care of the issues I’ve come across. This is literally the 2nd review I’ve ever written in my life, but the service is just so good, it makes the extra cost of the warranty worth it every time. Especially when they generally just replace the item with a new one I select. I highly recommend it to my friends all the time and now to you, you won’t regret it!

    Love having the Geek Squad to either speak to or bring my product in. They are very efficient in what they do! They are there to make it easier to buy from Best Buy and get support for your products you purchase. Wouldn't have it any other way.

    I typically never purchase extended warranties. They only last 1-2 years when something won't break anyway and then come with strings and deductibles/fee's etc that just make it insane. I was pleasantly surprised when Best Buy offered up their protection plan and it didn't have any "gotcha's" and is simple. If it breaks, we fix or replace and all you have to do is bring it to the store. That's the part that got...just bring it to us and we will take care of it. No shipping back to company, no drama, just bring it here and we will fix or replace, no questions asked. I stepped outside the box and bought one and haven't looked back. Have I used it...Yep. I got a Fitbit HR and it went out about 9 months after heavy use and Best Buy replaced it with no questions asked with a new one. Well worth the money I spent!

    Totally worth the protection plan - many years later and a piece of my vacuum broke. I took it into the store, they gave me a full refund for store credit, no questions asked.

    Geek Squad protection plans have been a god send. Within this year alone. I dropped a water bottle on my computer monitor and it started flickering, my Dyson vacuum just stopped charging and my gaming mouse just stopped working. All three covered and I was able to get replacements in no time. definitely worth every penny.
