    Extended warranty Fraud!!!!

    I have always purchased extended warranty plans with BB. However, I was recently told that because the manufacturer replaced an item with a different model, that the new item was not covered. This is in contrast to the Terms & Conditions of the GSP for June 2022. Page 2, paragraph 3b. "If your Covered Product is replaced by the manufacturer, your replacement device will become the Covered Product under this Plan..." There is no talk of model numbers or must be exact same item. Be warned most manufacturers change model numbers yearly as they upgrade their products! Funny they acknowledged I have an active warranty but kept wanting to refund it at a prorated amount. I refused this as acceptable because clearly if they sold me a useless warranty, I want all my money back. However now that I have read the T&C, I want them to replace both ice maker and refund the cost of my so called warranty plans! Wouldnt hurt if you also paid for my wasted trip to the store as you told me it was covered and would be repaired/replaced...which obviously did not happen!!! CASE ID 354 731 631

    Unable to actually use the protection...

    Impossible to use on countertop ice maker. I purchased this warranty and an ice maker. Ice maker started having issues. Plan doesn't even show up under my "Protection Plans" but does show up on the invoice. Called phone customer service, they told me they do not process these warranty claims via phone and I need to make a Geek squad appointment. I go in person and Geek Squad says they do not process ice maker protection plans in store and that I need to call telephone customer service...I explain I tried and they said I was given incorrect info. I leave, go home, call customer service again and they tell me no, they do not process these, the in store person was incorrect. So I make another Geek Squad appointment at a different location and guess what they tell me? "Sorry, we don't process these protection plans for ice makers in store, you need to call customer service to get it repaired or replaced". Eventually I chatted with customer service and it was agreed I would just buy the replacement and ship the failed one back. Still waiting for the refund...

    Beware they do not honor warranty as stated on contract. Would not come out to my home to look at broken outdoor ice maker. Ice maker is too heavy to bring into the store. My warranty states in home service. Made appointment for them to come to my home they cancelled the appointment. Then said they would send the technician that day. Cancelled again. Poor customer service!

    If you buy this MAKE SUREyou get the warranty! I have taken it back 3 times because it stopped working. The third time i got ny money back thanks to the warranty.

    PROTECTION PLANS ARE A SCAM!!! BE ADVISED YOU CAN ONLY USE THEM ONCE, THEN YOU HAVE TO RENEW!! GEEK squad at the Brandon FL store was awful. Didn't even look at the product (crappy Insignia nugget ice maker) and said just go to customer service and get a store credit. Paid for a 4 year plan and was going to get a new machine but realized I would have to pay for another protection plan with the new machine. TOTAL RACKET!!!

    Piece of junk, do not buy. It looks nice enough, but the function is poor. The dual zones do not hold bottles at different temps. The worst part is the racks. They are to close together to hold most california Pinot Noirs, and even worse the design of the racks requires you to lift the back of the rack to slide it out.....which is nearly impossible to do if the racks are loaded. The racks are not on coasters/wheels at all. They are flimsy popsicle stick feeling racks that just sit on little plastic ledges. Also, because i set it up 17 days after purchase I can't return this hunk of junk. Best Buy apparently only gives you 15 days to make a return. Anyone want it for 50% off? There are much better options at Lowe's for the same price.

    The first one didn't work at all. It made the most horrid noise and it had nothing to do with leveling. It was returned. WEEKS later, we finally had the second one delivered. It worked for 1 year and 3 weeks and then JUST QUIT. I contacted Insignia support and they wouldn't honor the warranty because it was 3 WEEKS over! And, ya, I'm not even sure I received the second one by then, but the receipt was the receipt and they refused to help me!

    This fridge lasted about 14 months. It will no longer cool. There is no fix or help to be found through the company. It’s mind boggling that a company can get away with selling garbage at this price point. I wish I had read more of the reviews, as I’m not the first person who has fallen victim to this issue. Unless you like to gamble with hundreds of dollars, I’d steer clear.

    Nice looking will stop working after a year of use

    Great fridge for the esthetics but it stopped working after 1 year. Had someone take a look at it and the problem is from inside the wiring (copper wire) now I will need to buy a brand new fridge.

    I'm sure it was nice new! I received item that they had already cut the box open around the bottom and the feet on the front did NOT match. Not the same height, so the cooler rocked back and forth, terribly because the feet weren't the same. NOT level. Definitely, not a Brand New item that I paid for!!
