    I called geek squad for my item and because it had manufacture warranty, i felt the geek squad didnt want to make this their problem and using the manufactured warranty voids this one?? Why must you pay for extended coverage before manufacturers is out

    Geek Squad protection is something you should purchase. I normally purchase the protection when I buy things from Best Buy as an insurance policy.

    I usually get the protection for high ticket items. Although it does take time for Best Buy to determine wether they will replace or repair.
