Funny, I've never gotten extra protection for my mobile phones, even though I take them on boats and use whatever one I've got day in and day out. But for an appliance with moving parts, a microwave with an LCD panel, or a TV that wouldn't last like a cathode ray tube would, I put some additional money into the Best Buy protections these days.

Geek squad is good and reliable. The provide good service

Glad I can rest easy knowing I have the 4 year protection on my GE 1.6 cu ft microwave. Even better they matched the price when it went on sale shortly after purchase!

We purchase a lot of products from Best Buy because their geek squad protection program works. We always get the longest possible protection plan and had 2 items that broke already refunded. With the store credit, we were able to purchase new products for the same or even a lesser price. We are very happy with it so far.

The agent was able to resolve the technical issue related to Microwave and suggested new purchase very quickly

The staff were very helpful from walking in the door to leaving out the door I was greeted with a friendly smile and I left with a friendly smile because the work that was done to electronics that I purchased I was in and out the door within 15 minutes geek squad is great!!

Bought the AirPods for my son, he was a little rough in them and one AirPod wasn’t working correctly. Purchased my son a new pair for Christmas but didn’t realize I purchased the warranty on the broken air. Returned and got the broken pair replaced. Guess who now owns the replacement pair... me! Buy the warranty - it’s totally worth it.

We had purchased a plan for a previous microwave. The microwave stopped working, so I took it back expect them to send it for repairs. They said it works differ than computer. They gave me the purchase price back and I selected a differ microwave and protection plan and even got a small gift card back with the difference of the cost.

Have not yet used it, but i hope they honor the warranty.

[Employee of bestbuy] Quick and easy setup. It’s very spacious. I can warm both of my toddlers plates at the same time. My favorite part is there is no loud obnoxious noise when the timer is up when I grab my late night snacks lol

I always get this protection- JIC.. This is first time I used it - took awhile to replace my microwave-oven which wasn't even 2 yrs old - but had been discontinued. However -eventually got one - just had to pay difference in price between old one and new one and get new protection plan. Too bad they don't have loaners as one month without microwave is a LONG time. Luckily they found similar product - practically identical actually- so I got one sooner.

Larger microwave than what we need, but things heats up so much faster. I glad i purchased it
