The representative was very excellent patience understanding on my concerns on my microwave that i purchase.

I usually don't buy additional insurance, but I like the Geek Squad protection as it's a simple and economic option. used it before (on an iPad cover) - and it was worth it.

Extremely disappointed in the 4 year protection plan. I purchased a microwave and was told the 4 year plan was a full replacement plan, so I bought it. That turned out not to be true. The microwave lasted 33 days before it completely stopped heating. Instead of a replacement they sent it out for repair (2-3 weeks). If it costs too much to fix, they said they’d give me a store credit for the purchase price. And if I choose to buy a new one, I’d have to purchase a new protection plan. I’ll also lose the $70 off for the sale price if it’s not still on sale. So if it can’t be fixed, my “4 year protection plan” will have lasted 33 days, it will have cost me $110, and I won’t even have a microwave, just a store credit that doesn’t include what I paid for the protection plan. The protection plan is definitely not worth it, especially if the product only lasts a few weeks.

Displans is a must have. It covers all the damage to your items and there is no household when trying to discuss issues about whether or not to keep the plan if it's not needed at time.

I’d give 4 stars if the appointment process to repair my dryer wasn’t such a challenge. After 1 year of purchasing by Samsung dryer, my heating element went out. I contacted Geek Squad who got me an appointment the following week. However, the service repair vendor cancelled it the days before. Lots of back and forth to finally discover they didn’t service my area. Best Buy was unaware. They were able to send an alternate provider after several phone calls and by dryer was fixed in 20 mins. The warranty itself was a gem. GS customer service was great. Just some behind the scenes miscommunication about vendors and their service areas.

Professional. Got protection on my new vacuum. Haven't had issues yet but dealt with Geek Squad before. They have been good and it's worth the extra money for the added protection.

This provides excellent hassle-free warranty over and above the manufacturer warranty. They easily and without hassle replaced my microwave oven

I also get geek suad for my appliances. They always come through!
