The Blu-ray player that I purchased the Geek Squad Protection decided to break on the last day of coverage. I was able to schedule an repair appointment at 6:40pm at the Cerritos, California store but was told that my coverage had ended because at 6:40pm(Pacific Time) it was 9:40pm (Eastern Time) and Eastern Time is what Best Buy uses when their Geek Squad Protection is purchased and not the location of the purchase.

The agents connected the refrigerator so fast and were very friendly.

I’ve never once used the Geek squad. I don’t even remember buying it. Havnt needed it so far.

To be honest i baught it to go with my lg oled 65 but it freezes on most movies even when they are new. If you have a high end hone theater i would look into another player

I think the service is good and geek squad should be promoted

Geek Squad is missing appointments with me. Lost a days work when nobody showed up for an appointment, and this past Friday, 12-4-2020, a second time I had an appointment scheduled, nobody showed up from Geek Squad. What is going on? Disappointed in Geek Squad, Carl J. Niedzwiecki

Waste of money for me, my equipment is pretty good. I'm going to stop adding on these plans because it's money flushed down the drain

It wasn't worth it for the device I bought. The 2 year plan would have been much smarter.

Usually the item craps out right after the 2 year plan runs out

This is an excellent 4k Blu-ray player, an update to the previous UBP-800M that adds Dolby vision. I have never had any issues with it. The movies are super crisp in HD and SD upscaling is amazing. The audio options on this player will not disappoint especially if you have a surround system. This unit has an excellent build quality and features, I really love the fact that you can open and close the disk with the remote. Picture quality is top notch Sony style. I’m a keep this review short and sweet, I highly recommend purchasing the unit you won’t regret it. Pros: Build quality Picture quality Audio settings SD Upscaling Dolby Vision Features / options Cons: Limited Apps (smart features not good)

As a cd transport using just the digital out it works as expected. Be nice if a display for tracks and timer but normal for a dvd player to presume that info would only be visible thru a video connection

Bought this as an extra warranty on my 4k player. A preace of mind that if something happens.

Competently installed my 2 TVs: 77" S95C and 43" The Frame. They were quick, professional and prompt. Would use again!

Great value. Gives you peace of mind if something goes out.
