One star ONLY because of Freezing issues

Tried the same blu ray on the Xbox and an old Sony (which is supposedly notorious for freezing problems) and I had no freezing issues. It was only with this UB420 model that the freezing occurred. Returning and planning to buy from another source.

Sony DVD player
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Piece of junk. No LCD readout. Doesn’t begin play automatically when you insert a disc. Also, as a CD player, will play some but not others—for no apparent reason. If it cost a nickel more than the $35 I would return it but for the money can’t be bothered.

JUNK!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this player on 17 July 2022. One year later 25 July 2023 it stopped playing Blu-ray discs. I DID NOT SEE THAT COMMING. Stay away from this player. Not worth the hassle to get replaced.

Basic Apps not included
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Apps I want are not loaded on the machine - Hulu, Amazon, and the website to get the apps doesn't work. Registration Code is not available, online help not available. Stupid to have to jump through hoops to load the basic apps I want. I will try tomorrow, but may return the machine.
