Geek Squad is great! Best Buy products usually works well, but I always make sure to get Geek Squad protection just in case there are issues.

I used Geek Squad for my camera. Replacements were made without much hassle.

I was having issues with my microwave i bought less than a year ago. I call Geek Squad and was able to get in in 2 days. I was seen promptly at my appointment. They discussed that because i bought the extra warranty I was able to get a full refund for my microwave because they do not troubleshoot small appliances. I got my refund and another microwave.

The Geek Squad is the best thing when purchasing anything from Best Buy. The staff are patient with non-techy people and are a tremendous help in setting up new computer, transferring data from old computer to new, and answering all sorts of questions we had.

Wish I got a three year it just quit on me after 2-1/2 years. Bummer.

The Geek Squad protection plan really saved us a lot of money. The customer service personnel is very helpful and willing to explain details of the protection plan and insures that any repairs are done quickly. The Geek squad takes as much time as I want to explain the options and what alternatives might be jhelpful.

Previous warranty purchases through BestBuy have usually paid off. Appliances and electronics are not made like they used to be. I highly recommend the warranties most of the time.

I purchased this microwave for my niece on her birthday last year and it is still working fine she has 4 children and the 3 boys are not gentle with it so I know it's a good product

Geek Squad protection has been a lifesaver. Yes, on little items it doesn't make sense. But, on big ticket items, like TVs and appliances, get it. We had Geek Squad protection on a top TV we bought. Not naming names but it was garbage. The screen suddenly changed from full color to where the left half of the screen was black and white and the right half was color. 4 repair visits that only fixed it temporarily or had defective parts delivered until, because we had the Geek Squad protection, we were allowed to return it, for a full refund, and pick something else.

The comfort of knowing if anything goes wrong Best buy will exchange for same item or credit towards a new one. Must have on all items i purchase thru Best Buy. Hands down best warranty from any retailer I have used.

We brought in our microwave that door latch stopped working. We had purchased The geek squad guarantee on it. The store associate was very helpful and helping us get a replacement as it would take too long for repairs. They are always very friendly and helpful

I purchased this for a new microwave that I bought to replace the microwave that replaced my original one, so this is my third microwave. Its a built-in and only this one will work so I’m always stuck getting the same one at $500 a pop. The second one lasted less than two years, so if I had the extra protection I could have gotten it repaired or replaced. Okay, okay…I learned my lesson! For a small price I got an extra year of warranty in case microwave #3 decides to also have a limited life. Don’t risk it…get the protection!

This is a MUST have!!! I did not realize that my son purchased the Geek Squad 4-Year Standard Protection until my MacBook Pro needed an OS upgrade, and when I called they said I had this protection, and it turned out to be FREE to upgrade my operating system. What a blessing! This protection saved me from having to purchase a new MacBook Pro!! I definitely recommend this for everyone. It covers any and all computers, electronics, appliances, etc. even if it was not purchased at Best Buy. It was well worth the money. I have already recovered my cost!

I like having the ability of having a longer should something go wrong.

This was the second microwave purchased for our office. The first was for the upstairs kitchen. It not only is a beautiful appliance, but it works very well and is easy to use. We liked it upstairs so much that I ordered another for our production team downstairs.

I believe that purchasing this protection plan for an appliance will simplify the process if there are any problems with the appliance. The price is right for the reassurance. I can't say how good the service is since I haven't used it yet.
