It does make some noise now and then but we found that only happens when the unit doesn't have drainage for the water. I love that it has the remote control to easily change the settings. I'm iverall happy with it and would recccomend others to purchase it.

BB said they don't repair these but just replace it... so they replaced it...!

The manufacturer's warranty is great, but the additional coverage I get with Geek Squad makes me feel a lot more secure with my purchase at Best Buy. I can't think of a reason not to get it!
