I highly recommend purchasing this sense of security. Have you ever purchased something and had a hard time returning for a replacement? If so, this is why I recommend this optional item. We've had several items to break and have been able to return them without any issues. If the same item isn't available there are other options for replacement. I love having this option!

Hey, so id like to give my two cents of this particular monitor. I 100% believe, you pay for what you get, but for this to be $250, seems a little much. the refresh rate i definitely notice a slight difference, but truthfully if you’re not tech savvy you probably wont notice. I also notice a more saturated color lighting. definitely have to play to get to your liking, i like a cool crisp light. But ive seen it for a couple of months at 180, so i definitely believe that’s probably a red flag, but for 180 i can not complain! I get swivel and tilt for my screen, the button for me is managable and doesnt really effect style, and the helpfulness of the cord organizer is always a bonus. Also gaming on it feels smooth and i dont feel any stutter or anything since i switched for this one to soley game on.reminder it doesnt have audio so its really only good if you have speakers, headphone, or a second monitor with audio. ONLY REASON 3 STARS is because i believe for what they price it orginally, you might as well save up and look into getting a more expensive/better monitor but it gets the job done and im keeping it!

No matter what I always get a protection plan just in case. I’ve had it on an older laptop and it got crushed. Well it was not able to be fixed so I received the amount I paid for it back.

I’ve made the mistake of buying electronics elsewhere and always get the run around. Only buying from Best Buy simply because of geek squad! Spend the extra couple bucks it’s worth it!

The last thing you want is for your equipment to breakdown and have to replace it in a pinch. Like anything mechanical things tend to occasionally breakdown. I always get the plan for everything and yes I have had to use it on a few items. So far, Best Buy has the service and they are fast so I always go to them for electronics.

I always worry about making expensive purchases. But I feel that the geek squad services are very well done. If anything happens all you have to do contact them and then go from there. I usually get the 4 year plan as anything can happen and I feel that if you are worried that something might then get the warranty

I love geek squad protection and try to get it on my products whenever possible. This plan covers most issues that you can run into with monitors. Its easy to claim and get a replacement/store credit. Keep in mind this does not cover physical damage of any kind.
