First, check out Best Buy on the Better Business Bureau, and decide if purchasing their service plans or installation services are worth it anymore. I have been a customer for 35 years, and never had a bad experience. Their customer service is nightmare now. As well as their GSPR plans being a waste of money, now. I bought a $300 modem on sale for $250. The plan cost $45. 1 1/2 years later, it stopped working. Not only do you have to cover the extra cost of what the modem costs not on sale ($50), you lose the rest of the 4 year warranty. So, I'm paying $45 for a 4 year service, that I only got 1 1/2 years of use on, which comes to a loss of $30 of unused portion of warranty, another $45 to get another plan, and $50 to cover the extra cost of replacing the modem that isn't on sale anymore. And it gets even better when the sales person at Best Buy states he could return the modem to Motorola if it was still under their manufacturer warranty. (He assumed the warranty was only one year). When I tell him it's a 2 year manufacturer warranty, he refuses to do what he just told me he would do, if it was covered. Motorola even sent me an email to bring to Best Buy, that they determined the modem was faulty and couldn't be repaired, and that they would except the return from Best Buy. Best Buy would have been out nothing to return it to Motorola for a replacement and still expected me to purchase another 4 year plan. The reason I didn't go through the manufacturer is because Motorola expects you ship their faulty product back with insurance ($25) I have a $45 service plan and then have to pay $25 to go through the manufacturer for a replacement, in order to not lose my Best Buy replacement plan??? And the worst mistake you could ever make with Best Buy is to contact their headquarters. They will say they are doing a "one time favor" by doing a refund for the product and service plan, and that they don't need it returned, and then cancel the service plan, and never send the refund for the product. I now have no warranty, nor can I replace the item because it shows as returned (even though I still have it) and I'm out $250 for the refund the never gave me.

I do so, because they have paid for themselves countless times. The 4 year warranty is new to me, but for $12, there is no excuse not to have it.

The monitor works very well just as the description said the specs were and very good.

Firstly, I absolutely love this monitor. This is my first 144hz and it lives up to the specs. I only worry about the longevity of it, as the monitor has a dead pixel in it which I'm pretty bummed about. its not really noticeable but its there, and it is just frustrating for such a good monitor.

I have been a loyal Best Buy customer for decades, always relying on them for my technology needs. In 2021, I purchased a Geek Squad replacement plan under the impression, assured by the store manager, that it would cover everything including accidental damage. Unfortunately, when I needed to use the plan for a cracked computer monitor screen, I was surprised to learn that this type of damage isn't covered for TVs and monitors. Despite confirmations from corporate that accidental damage should be covered, I faced consistent refusals at the store level, leaving me frustrated and without support. The benefits of the Total Tech membership were also dismissed as "worthless" by staff during my attempts to resolve the issue. This experience has significantly changed my perspective on Best Buy’s service plans. I regret investing in this plan and will reconsider future purchases of major appliances and costly items from Best Buy. For those considering a protection plan, I recommend looking for alternatives where terms and coverage are clear and reliable.

If your product is not very reliable or needs an overhaul in the near future, I suggest buying this plan. If you are sure that your things are intact, carefully selected, and impeccable in terms of quality, buying this plan is tantamount to donating to others.

- The unit I received couldn't connect to WiFi, regardless of whether directly or through the app. - The picture quality as a monitor is quite low. - I intended to use this as a monitor for VS Code the text legibility was poor regardless of settings - The screen itself is not anti-reflective. It basically is not usable in a room with any natural light.

I returned this monitor because the screen resolution was not as clear as I wanted it. I did however, like the price and everything else. Sorry it didn't work.

good warranty for an expensive monitor i bought for my computer

Very satisfied. It is a good monitor especially for the price.

This rating for best buy and NOT the monitor. I purchased this and noticed a dead pixel after a few days. Go to exchange it and they tell me I have to give them my old one and then order a new one and wait a week or so. I need this for work and paid full price and got a faulty product in return. All I want to do is have one ordered and sent to the store and I will bring this one in and exchange it. Simple right? Not for Best Buy. It’s crazy it is this difficult to swap this out for the same exact thing.

I purchased this to help protect my purchase of my monitor.
