I first began using the Geek Squad for in-home help YEARS ago! I am a very elderly person and having someone so competent/skilled/friendly as these wonderful helpers is a priceless need for me. I HAVE been known to screw things up, and sometimes my screwups require personal help. For me to be able to call and get advice or a solution over the phone is often all that I need, but when I need in-home help these folks are SUPER! My current closest helper, Josh, has helped me several times since I moved into my retirement resident apartment, and he has been truly marvelous. It never has taken him a really prolonged time to figure out what to do and his pleasant explanations to ME as he works along make me feel like I'm part of the solution. Using the Geek Squad is an really economically sound investment for me.

The price really went up on this but it’s worth it. Couple years ago it was only $75, now it’s $150. Use as much as you can wear and tear the product tf out. because this purchase will let you replace it with a newer model and it’ll credit the old price with the new you just have to pay the difference!

I loved this monitor while it worked. At the time of purchase, I paid about $400 and it was worth every penny. It had great colors and viewing angles. The adaptive sync function worked pretty great with both Nvidia GPUs I used it with, although I did run into an issue of the screen turning black occasionally for reasons that I still haven’t been able to identify, but I have experienced other AMD Freesync monitors exhibiting this behavior with Nvidia G-Sync and this one in particular is certainly not certified as G-Sync compatible. I absolutely loved the size and the curve of the panel. This was my first ultra wide gaming monitor and I find it difficult to go back to flat panels. It really helps immerse you in the content on display. I also like the little included features like an on screen FPS counter and an aim point overlay. This biggest gripe I have and the reason for one star is that this monitor just stopped working one day in the middle of a gaming session. It still powered on. Audio still passed through to the built in headphone jack. Even the panel backlight was still running. The LCD panel just turned off and never recovered. Even the OSD menu wouldn’t appear. I tried several cables and two different computers before giving up. Apparently this particular family of monitors from AOC has a potential defect for this exact type of failure. In my case, it lasted a year and a half. Luckily I had a Best Buy protection plan and took it into the store. They handed me a store credit for what I paid for this monitor and I took the chance to upgrade. Even though AOC usually has a good track record with their monitors, I would recommend staying away from this specific model. If you do decide to pick it up, get a protection plan to go along with it because you are rolling the dice on a dud.

$150 for 4 year protection on my OLED monitor is not bad. I don't need to stress about babying the monitor knowing if pixels die, or there's burn in I can make a return.

I bought my new monitor from best buy specifically because of geek squad and the extended warranty. I had heard so many horror stories about the samsung monitors that i was a little eerie about getting one. But it was what i needed, getting the 4 year protection made me feel much better about it.

Good deal when things can break randomly. I’ve had a few different products replaced with ease.

I haven’t had to use this yet but the thought of having it makes me More comfortable to protect my products

Amazing service. Has helped me out every time and no questions asked when I needed a replacement. Highly recommend this. I have had to replace a vacuum and a lcd screen in the past. It's a no brainer.

Geek squad service is great no hassle what so ever if you can get warranty on your item's do so it comes in handy

Had some weird black and white lines all over my monitor and I went in and they replaced my monitor with a brand new one. Definitely recommend getting this warranty for an expensive monitor

The absolute best protection warranties out there today

I buy products from Best Buy and I always take out insurance with Geek and I've never had any problems, they are fast and reliable.

Worth the price especially on open box items. Primarily monitors or pcs.

I recommend it in case something gets damaged and you can replace it.

Must have with any product you buy from Best Buy can’t beat $30 for 4 years so the math. $7.5 a year to have peace of mind knowing ur product safe. Insurance

Geek squad is quick and efficient in every way and glad to add protection to all my devices.

With the replacement product protection anything could happen to it and you just get a new one!

After 3 and a half years I used my 4 year geek squad protection for my monitor and was able to get in store credit for the value of the monitor. They kindly offered for me to choose a new monitor but I decided to go with the in store credit. They didn't offer cash straight up but the warranty was worth it. Since the warranty covers wear and tear, my monitors ports were lose and didn't work at times and when I explained it to the best buy employee they understood and gave me the credit. Not accidental protection! Only wear and tear.

I almost always get the Geek Squad Protection plans on my devices, and everytime I use it Im grateful. Dont have to fight with the manufacturers overseas troubleshooting centers, or pay to ship out large boxes and wait weeks or months on end for a replacement. I just call Geek Squad or go in store and get it handled.
