I just purchased it for my Acer monitor. We'll see how good they are if/when I need it fixed/replaced. Other reviewers said it wasn't an issue and it seems like dealing with Acer warranty support will force you to pay for shipping to their repair depot (???). So, whatever. Capitalism.

I normally dont ever have issues when it comes to Bestbuys protection warranties. Do note that the warranties are a one time use.

I think it’s really worth it for larger items. If something happens you can feel good knowing it’s going to be taken care of.
