I bought an open box item. Was marked excellent which means all parts are there and in like new condition. Parts were missing and was told purchase was as is. It should have been mark as Good Condition if parts were missing.

These are fairly inexpensive so I just picked them up for anything I know I want to keep for a while. When they are needed they come in handy!

To each their own. Some would never get warranties. But for me shtuff happens. And things break or are designed to wear out. In either case these warranties work very well.
